These are the best traps ever. They kill the critter immediately saving them from suffering. We have the mouse size of these traps as well. We live in a very old house with a barn in close proximity, so we do get mice on occasional as well as an over population of chipmunks. These traps are easy to use and simple to empty.

We have neighbors who feed the birds...so we get rats. My husband has used a variety of traps, and this one has done a great job of catching them.

These are big! Very easy to use. Set them up with some peanut butter. So far caught three mice (even though these are for rats). Can easily remove them and then set the trap again with my foot, which makes them pretty safe. They last quite a while too. I honestly don’t bother cleaning with them. If I get a couple of seasons out of them, I’m good and if they get too gross, it’s time for new ones.

They're definitely well made, no danger of trapping your fingers in them, I haven't caught anything with them yet, hopefully I won't catch anything and the critters will move on, also added it to my yard pulsating stakes so time will tell, but they're there if I need them I will keep them set to make sure if anything comes around

Do not get these for chipmunks. It's not strong enough snap to kill. They flop around dragging trap off or lay there suffering until you open the trap.

I use the mouse traps so I figured I'd try the bigger one on a problem red squirrel. Worked great.The mouse traps work excellent as well, these things just work.

I live in Washington DC, and my neighborhood has rats. Not just your normal, scurrying around the dark places of the walls rats, but more like a full blown Lovecraftian infestation of NIMH escapees. They brazenly run around in plain sight, feasting on urban refuse in the most disgusting places. Like a chapter of obnoxious frat boys they show up uninvited and unwelcome on the engine block of our car for loud all night parties that deposit mounds of chicken wing bones and puddles of putrid smelling bodily wastes and fluids.Clearly, they have to die.Traditional wooden rat traps were laughed at. The extra wide trigger rat traps were laughed at. One of them performed a racist stand up comedy routine at me while standing on the back porch steps. I finally ended up purchasing no less than 18 examples of 10 different types of rodent killing device. I bought this thing to kill chipmunks living under our house and eating our flowers. I set it multiple times and each time it was tripped it caught nothing. I even watched it close on a chipmunk only to watch the chipmunk quickly remove itself unharmed. I would return it to amazon except I already threw away the packaging.
