Easy to use.

I spent ages trying to find a replacement iron. I ordered quite a few but either they were too heavy or the handles were uncomfortable. This iron is exactly what I was looking for. It is very comfortable to hold, as soon as it has heated up there is no leaking, and it removes creases, including on linen, effectively. Some reviews say the cord is too short but I have not found that to be a problem from where I plug it in. I would definitely recommend this iron.

Really pleased with this Iron. It's nice & light, has a long lead and works perfectly. All the controls are easy to use so very happy. I used a major retailer for my previous purchase but had to return it as the cord was not long enough but the hassle they made me go through to get a refund was so upsetting! Never buy from them again but do use their showroom to check stuff out & buy from a customer oriented Amazon!!

Philips Calc Clean system works extremely well and is my main reason for always choosing Philips. This iron has the system and it doesn’t disappoint. It is a little heavier than I normally like but it really does glide so smoothly over the fabric weight isn’t an issue. I can’t fault the iron itself but the instructions are very tricky to understand, especially Calc Clean. Having used Philips irons for many years, this was not a problem for me but a newcomer to the facility might struggle.I am happy. Excellent iron, well priced.

Always like Philips irons and this is no exception. Early days but it appears very good, lightweight and easy to handle.

Bought this after reading numerous reviews and the fact that I had just disposed of a previous Philips iron after 16 years hard work. This new one heats up quickly, but makes the most awful clicking noise when used. I put it down to newness, we shall see. It pressed my clothes well initially, bit after half an hour it made a huge hiss and deposited water onto the ironing board. Thankfully not on a garment!! Yes, I had read the instructions and followed them carefully. Also, no filling cup was enclosed or a way of keep the cord secure. My last Philips had a piece of velcro tape which held the cord neatly in place without kinks. Luckily I kept the measure cup. Overall, not very impressed, expensive for the job hopefully, it will do.

Great iron. Excellent product for the money. Nothing sticks. Should have gone back to a Philips iron years ago
