Hydrapak Bite Valve Replacement Sheath - for Hydration Reservoir Soft Flask - 2 Pack, Clear (A181)

I bought this to replace the bite valve on my Osprey Katari 3 bladder. It's genuinely better than Osprey's bite valve design because the plastic insert in the center is rounded rather than a straight 90 degree drop. As a result of Osprey's design choice, the silicon rubber will shear with casual use. I don't see myself having that same problem with the rounded HydraPak design. The silicon rubber also feels more durable compared to my Osprey bite valve, but it might just be because the Osprey bite valve is a couple of years old now. Nonetheless, this is a great buy if you need a replacement bite valve.

Lost the valve on a 2L Hydrapak for Dakine bike pack and I am so excited to find these on Amazon. I did look at Hydrapak website and they carry these but would have to pay shipping under $45 order and I didn't want to buy anything else. Although these are slightly different than the original on the pack, it's a perfect fit! I also think this is a fair price for 2 pack and will now have a back up. I use this item 4-5 times a week so very happy to get the replacement in a day.

I really thought they looked too small when I pulled them out of the box. I have one of the rock rain hydration, backpacks. It is not new and I wasn’t really able to find parts listed officially on here. So I was excited to figure out that that silicone bit at the end of the hose is called a bite valve. Even more excited to find these listed and to affordably, too.The biggest challenge I found was getting the little shape keeping piece of plastic out of the valve after getting the wrapping off. I pulled off the old valve from my pack and used the plastic tip to push and it popped out enough for me to pull up the rest of the way with my hands. I washed it and popped it onto the pack. It fits it like it was meant for it. Definitely worth it.

Replacement for my hot laps bag

These are a good replacement for Gregory 3D water bladder. It’ll fit just like the original mouthpiece. Only thing to note is if you have the Gregory cap it may not be a snug fit. For the price it’s excellent replacement.

I needed this to replace one that I had bitten through and it works as expected. No complaints
