Took a little getting use to the gage however it works well for what we need it for. Not sure if it's the product or just the pipe it's on but it doesn't read tempature as well as our old gage (our child thought I was a toy), might be a little stiff since it's so new.This is magnetic.Over all satisfied with purchase
