Sightmark Mini Shot A-Spec Reflex Sight

I've used Sight Mark on a AR platform in the past and was very impressed, now I've added this sight to one of my handguns and I really didn't have to adjust it. Right out of the package I was hitting 5', then 10', so I pushed it out to 15' and barely had to any adjustment to make.

Works great on my 1911. Planning to buy another to top off my nv.

I haven't actually had an opportunity to zero this yet, but I'm pleased with the quality and fit. It came with a variety of screws for mounting it to the pistol and fortunately one set was exactly right. It has a unique feature in which ambient light automatically activates it, so if you place the included cover on it, it will turn itself off to save the battery. The windage and elevation screws seem very accurate, so I'm please with my purchase. However...now that I have tried it, the brightness of the dot is just not strong enough to see if there is any other light. I guess if you one use this at night, it would be OK - but for target shooting at the range, it just isn't visible at all.

DO NOT ORDER THIS SIGHT!! This will be my third try with sight mark and this one was the worst of them all. Bought it new and it came opened already missing the battery and screws to mount it. Could not hold zero while just racking it when sighting it in with a bore laser. Never took 1 shot with it and it would not turn on again. Changed the battery and it would still not work. Save your time and money and look for a better sight. Not worth it at all!! No wonder it said it was a frequently returned item.

The RD was easy to sight. Instructions are simple. Took it to the range. Had to tweek the sight after zeroed the round was dead on target. I’m a retired vet in the bio-chemical warfare field I recommend this sight….

The sight was very easy to mount but I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. Just wish that the sight window was a little bigger.

I was excited to get this today. But was disappointed when I took it out of the box. It's not visibly the quality that I was looking for.The glue or seal around the lens is not uniform and is crooked. Also there is a droplet of glue and different colored paint on the heads of the screws as if it's been mounted.It says new on the paperwork and can't be returned if it has been mounted.I'm definitely going to return this and buy the sig Romeo zero instead.The only reason I went with this site was because I have a sightmark m-spec and it is awesome!

I mounted this to a Max-9 and have been pleased with the performance. It is holding its zero well after a month of carry and a few hundred rounds. I can see the dot clearly without glasses unlike my open sighted pistols, so this is now my most accurate pistol, despite the short barrel.The auto bright feature works for me in all lighting conditions, including in the dark with a flashlight.Very pleased with this purchase.
