Works great on my driveway alarm instead of batteries.

Would have given it five stars if the cable was a foot longer. But it did get my auto trashcan working again.My iTouchless trash lifter acted like it always does when the batteries get low so I changed them out. It didn’t last but a day before it started acting that way again. I followed all the troubleshooting steps, including letting it sit for two hours and wiping everything down and all that. No change when putting brand new batteries back in. Tested the batteries with a multimeter and they were fine. Before tossing the iTouchless decided to order one of these and hook it up in case the battery power portion of the unit was the problem. And indeed it was because now it’s working again with this 6v supply. Only thing is the cable on the charger was a little too short, so I had to use an extension cord. Don’t know about durability yet. If it fails in less than a year, I will come back and reduce the stars from 4 to 0.

I bought 4 of them and none of them worked, they were all 4 defective! I wasted my money.

I waited awhile before I purchased this adapter. Input from fellow shoppers helped me. It works perfectly on my small fiber optic Christmas tree.
