Great for an energy boost without feeling nervous. These are the perfect amount of caffeine to l-theanine ratio so that I can have extra energy from the caffeine while feeling calm and focused from the L-theanine. It is a great deal getting this bottle of 240 capsules for so cheap. Nutricost makes great quality supplements for a great price and these are excellent. They are easy to swallow capsules and also easy to open and take the powder directly on the tongue for faster effects; it does not taste bad at all. I take them usually twice a day to keep up my energy and they also help suppress my appetite so that I don't eat too much or crave sweets. I highly recommend these for anyone who needs extra energy or to help with mood or focus. They may even help you lose weight. My wife and I both take them daily and they keep us feeling good and full of energy. Great quality, great price, easy to swallow, and actually works! I highly recommend these!

I am new to caffeine pills. I purchased my first set of caffeine pills from a different company on amazon and liked them well enough but I wanted to try a caffeine pill with l-theanine. I have been using these for 2 months and think that I have given it a good shot for an honest review.Though I don't know all the benefits of L-Theanine, what I do know is that it helps to feel less anxious and more relaxed. I definitely need that and I feel that. Coworkers have commented that I don't look stressed (even if I am internally). I am not as bothered as I typically would be.I am an RN, have 4 kids, and i typically rely on caffeine to make it through the day. I am drinking less coffee because of these caffeine pills. I take one at 5:30AM before my shift with my vitamins and then I head to work. During my lunch break I take another pill and I am set for my 12 hour shift. I am drinking more water, don't feel sluggish, am not jittery, and sleep well at night. I was nervous about trying caffeine pills - fear that I would get addicted or just the concept of taking pills for energy was weird...but my fears are abated. I am energized and don't take the pills on my days off from work, so not addicting.

I have stomach issues, but still like the boost of a little caffeine. These provide consistent, controlled, smooth energy. I usually just take one pill a day emptied into a smoothie, which is less than a lot of energy drinks. Two if it's going to be a long, demanding day. Super great for travel, camping, etc, so you don't *have* to worry about having to get, bring, or make drinks. I have played with making cold brew, and adding L-theanine or buying special coffees, but this is easy and convenient.

The product is clearly a good value for the money. The caffeine offers energy and the l-theanine offers relaxation.The problem is that the ratio is 1:1. You get 100mg of caffeine and 100mg of l-theanine. I would prefer a lower dose of caffeine (maybe 50mg) and a higher dose of l-theanine (200mg). Or maybe 100mg caffeine and 400mg of l-theanine.Why? I wish it had more of a relaxing effect overall. I often have coffee in the morning. Often, I only want a little pick me up in the afternoon. This works fine but it would be nice to have an even more mellowed out energy delivery.I’ll update this review if my opinion changes.

This form of caffeine feels SO much better than other caffeine tablets I have tried before which made me anxious and were not pleasant.I highly recommend this to anyone seeking to stop drinking energy drinks because the calming effect of the L-Theanine really helps add to the functionality of the focus and energy it gives you.No jitters and the 100mg dosage is perfect.So happy I can have a better alternative to regular forms of caffeine because I energy drinks and coffee are much too acidic for me -very happy with this purchase!

Take 2 in the morning and you will be awakened. People don’t understand that this is better than a monster demon drink.You just take 2 and you’re ready to go.Drink some coffee after and go. Or go to the gas station and buy a $4-$5 filthy monster for your gullet.Don’t be a loser. Just get your caffeine and theanine at a reasonable price and quick release.Or waste your money on monster crap energy life force drain

Absolute godsend. I used to be a Death Wish addict, and one or two of these in the morning a few times a week has helped me kick my caffeine addiction to the curb. I’ve noticed a mellow focus, and energy that are blended together in perfect harmony. However, I’d be careful with taking these at certain times and monitor how your body metabolizes them as they tend to last longer than coffee would, and could potentially disrupt sleep.

These had the exact same side effects as my old ritalin prescription. Worst headache I've had in years. I doubt these things are safe for everyone to take. BUYER BEWARE.(I've since given this bottle off to the police so they can analyze it and have requested a refund)
