Came in solid wooden crate. Great packing. Everything came as you’d expectI don’t how “portable” it is. It weighs 200lbs and doesn’t have wheels. I’m going to get a base with wheels for it. It’s short, so it would be nice on a truck or trailer.When we turned it on all was good, until the compressor kicked on. It sounded like the fan blade were hitting something. After opening the unit up I discovered that a screw was missing. The screw holds a solenoid, and this solenoid was dangling and getting hit by the fan. $0.14 screw from Ace solved the problem. Rather easy fixOver all the unit works great and we’re enjoying it!Update: March 21, 2023I’ve had the unit for a while now. It’s been up a running daily for about 10 weeks. What I’ve noticed is you have to let it cycle and harden up..otherwise after a couple pulls, it comes out very thin. If we get busier, I’ll get another one of these.While cleaning I found damage on the mixing shaft. I contacted the seller and they responded promptly. Very easy to work with and ordering new parts now. Knowing I can contact the manufacturer directly for parts is why I’ll get another unit if we need to.Update: March 28, 0224Unit is still up and going strong! After a year I had to replace the belts, Grease the gear box and get need gaskets on the rotating augers/spindle (the thing that spins and makes the ice cream, there's a gasket in the back of it where it presses onto the square shaft from the gear box.) Typical maintenance as it's been running 8hr/day, 7 days/week....only been off maybe 2weeks total over the past year. The Seller, again very accommodating, supplied me with replacement gaskets and a couple new spindles.If the room temp get around 80deg F, the machine shows an error and shuts off. I've learned the temperature differential between the machine and the room temp need to be far apart, not sure on an exact number yet. But reducing the hardness will correct it...or AC (but the machine kicks out its own heat too).Overall, still quite satisfied with this unit!

This machine has not worked correctly since I bought it, from day one it would not freeze correctly or would freezie too much, would leak one flavor into the next flavor, I needed to replace O rings just a few months after buying it to fix the leaking from one flavor to the next, then at the beginning of summer, my first summer open and in business my WHOLE CONTROL PANEL decided to stop working. I contacted the company because I still had my icecream machine under warranty, but she MADE ME PAY FOR A NEW CONTROL PANEL. Even tho it was under warranty. Then when my new control panel arrives I paid for a professional to come install it, the machine still would not run right. The lady insist that I fix the machine, while she tried to walk me through trouble shooting and reprogramming the control panel, this went on for two months. I have been without my main icecream machine for the first two months of my business opening because of this machine. I finally came to a breaking point after paying for multiple professionals to come look at it one of them finally figured out what was wrong and told me I needed a wiring schematics so he can insure the control panel is connected correctly. Now I am on month three of trying to fix this machine and the lady at the company is REFUSING to give us the wiring schematics the one thing we need to ensure everything is connected correctly. I have asked for a return, a refund, a new machine, or just the damn wiring paperwork my specialist needs to do his job. I am paying $112 an HOUR for these people to fix my machine and everything is at a stand still until the company gives us some type of wiring diagram. I have done nothing but worked on this machine and put money into it and waste softserve mix

A month or so ago had an issue with one of the handles. The owner sent me a set of new handles with no charge. The owner also helped with a prior issue that was our fault. Great product and has been very useful.
