I have a few Ego products and this thing works AWESOME. I love it. My Ego trimmer is excellent, but when it comes to the thicker weeds and bushes, it can't cut them cleanly and I did not expect it to, but this rocks. I used it on the thick weeds, hedges, and thin tree branches and the battery lasts an insane amount of time. You won't regret the purchase!

I have been using a Stihl gas powered trimmer for years and finally got to the point that it was too cumbersome and heavy to use. I purchased this EGO as it matched a battery I already had for a blower. I had been skeptical of battery powered devices (old fashioned) but, this exceeded my expectations, lightweight and powerful. You will have no problem trimming the majority of plants/bushes you may have up to an inch or so. Extremely pleased so far!

I'm a bow hunter who used this trimmer for the first time to clear about 3/4 acres of GreenBriar Holly and Wild Black Cherry trails. All the brush was cut infringing on walking through the trail. I have two Eco products, so I took an extra battery. I absolutely did not need the extra battery. It cut through most everything with a few jams, but it kept going. Great battery life. I'm very happy with this trimmer.

I like the power of the hedge trimmer. It makes cutting hedges easier. The bar handle when released stops the trimmer which is a nice safety feature, but hinders using it with one hand.

Have used this hedge trimmer extensively for several months on mature shrubs with thick branches. The trimmer has had no difficulty with the heavy cutting load. Battery life has been exceptional. The interchange of batteries with my string trimmer and blower is extremely handy.

I highly recommend this trimmer. It is easy to use and does the job well! Highly recommended.
