I really like these. Not overly strong with Anis flavor. Unfortunately, UPS did not take the care that they should have. Many were smashed and due to being left outside (UPS did not ring doorbell) the toppings were melted, shame. Would order them again at a different time of year when it is not 96 degrees, if the seller does not put them with some heat protection.

I was so happy when I saw these Anise Cookies my Nonni (Grandmother) made these growing up and she passed it down to me. I had ordered the cookies in the beginning of August when they arrived I could not believe how good they were. I eat all of them in 3days. I tell my daughter and she asked me to get her one so I ordered 4 which cost me $99.96 I didn’t care they are that good. Today I see the UPS truck and I’m in my glory’s it the cookies we’ll let me tell you my happiness did not last long I open the box and all 4 are melted the frosting and sprinkles or stuck to the clear wrap and they melted together. After the shock and crying I tasted them and they taste like raw Anise dough I don’t mind spending the money I was always taught you get what you pay for so I am so sad you think they would have packed it better. So in the winter and it is really cold give them a shot you will like them!! Thank you A Emerson

Cakey, not lite and crisp like Anise cookies from the corner Italian bakery. Anise taste in the top sugar coating only, which looks authentic, but when you bite in, it’s just a crumbly sugar cookie. And they’re expensive too - too much for this recipe.

I would have added a photo but I ate the box in two days. These cookies are excellent. In the batch I received the texture was perfect, they were not overly dry or soft. The flavor was delectable, the anise flavoring could be a bit stronger but as they taste it would appeal to a wider client base so I get it. There is also not too much or too little icing. I just wish I hadn't eaten 12 cookies a day for two days straight. I will definitely order more but after I get some more cardio in. If you live somewhere warm or it is that season I think that there is validity to ordering the cookies when it is cooler out. No baked goods will do well in a hot truck or warehouse.

Very disappointed in these cookies. The anise flavor was not there. Ate a couple and then threw the rest out. .
