I wanted to go with this one over the other options available, as it has the steel braided hose as opposed to the plastic hose.Setup is pretty easy, just make sure you install the hard white plastic washer in the end that attaches to your co2 tank. The smaller elastic one that is already in there is not functional. I made that mistake at the start, but you learn pretty quickly that it won't work.For the first little while, you may have to constantly re-tighten the end that attaches to your sodastream, but after a while that stopped for me. I haven't had to touch it in quite some time.Overall, this is a worthy investment to make so you don't have to keep dropping $20 a pop swapping those proprietary tanks at the store.

No problem getting everything tightly together with a Fizzi and 20lbs cylinder. You will definitely need a wrench to get the connector tight enough on the CO2 cylinder, hand tight will result in a leak.No bad aftertaste to report.

I bought this because I go through about one soda stream CO2 cartridge a week and it was getting to be a bit expensive. Upgraded to a larger external tank and this hose works perfectly.

I wont be paying the overpriced Sodastream tanks anymore. Although expensive, I hooked it up to a 5lbs tank and it should last me a few months!

Excellent product! It works like a charm. Nylon washer was hard to insert in the adaptor but it does as described for my sodastream and my 20 pounds cylinder. No issue at all.
