Edible Peacock Feathers - Set of 12 - Cake Decorations, Cupcake Topper

These are awesome. Flavor? No not really but come on what flavor do you really need? Taste like a communion host to me! Beautiful however. My daughters Latin class was holding a Roman Feast and in all her translations they are always serving peacock so I decided I needed to do the same as a joke for the children.They were a huge hit with all on top of honey grain Roman cakes!

Used this for a birthday cake for a peacock lover.. She loved the uniqueness of the feathers but said they tasted a terrible. I had not expected anyone would eat them although they are edible.They do not appear as vibrant in person as in the photograph.. If you use 2 together the color is more vibrant.Despite these issues, I would purchase them again as they are a fun decoration for a peacock lover.Note...they are wafer paper so they are very thin and will be damaged ("melt") by moisture. I wouldn't open them until ready to use. The packaging was excellent!

They look exactly as pictured and are package to protect them. I also recieved them rather quickly. Overall the appearanace was what I expected, they are very pretty.However, just because something is edible, doesn't mean you want to eat it. I tried one of these on a cupcake and it is not something I will eat again. So for less cost I could have bought cupcake pics becuase no one will be eating these. I was going to buy the edible butterflies for a future cake but not after tasting these. Very bitter and unappetizing!

Bought them for my daughter's wedding. Used a few as decorations on top of the spinach salad and also on the pasta salad. Put them in at the last minute before placing the bowls on the buffet table. They added so much, they were that little unexpected detail. Guests kept talking about them. Yes they are edible, but they don't taste that great but then again most cake decorations don't. I'd buy them again!

Loved the look of these feathers. I try to make everything on my cakes edible. I added a small amount of gold edible paint & some edible gold glitter. I think they looked fantastic. I have two 6 year olds that like to eat most decorations. They both stated these taste GROSS. I rated a 4. If they could work on the taste, they'd definitely be a 5.
