As others have said they are a tight fit but machine works perfectly now

Previous purchases of "compatible" belts snapped very quickly. Sofar this one seems OKMake sure they are the right fit for your machine

Very tight but I'm obviously great at it
Super tight to fit, need the strength of steve the crack head after his spice fix to be able to fit it. Many swears were used. Hoping it doesn't snap and take my eye out.

Vax DualPower Carpet Cleaner W86-DP-B////W85-DP-E....Drive Belt.......WRONG SIZE BELT.....
31.03.2025 : As others have said, ''it's tight to get on'', I used a screwdriver as a lever to get the belt onto the drive ''shaft'' thingy, I did a quick ''dry'' test just to see if it was working ''it was'', but not tried it with water on a carpet, I've yet to see how long it lasts, but you do get two belt to play with....I did phone Vax to see if they had the part number and price of the belt which is ''1-7-137273'' £3.99p, but they don't have any, and don't know when they'll be in stock.......The length of the snapped VAX belt is 38cm long if laid flat, if you go to a hardware store and buy a belt that measures half that, 19cm.......it should fit, that's what I've just done....UPDATE 01.04.25 :I'VE JUST TRIED THE CLEANER ''AND NEW BELT'' ON A CARPET, THE BELT IS TOO TIGHT TO ALLOW THE ROLLLER BRUSHES TO TURN, PLUS THERE WAS A BURNING SMELL COMING FROM THE ENGINE, SO THESE BELTS ARE THE WRONG SIZE, LETS HOPE THE SELLER WILL RETURN THE MONEY FOR ONE GOOD BELT, AND ONE SLIGHTLY USED BELT.......UNABLE TO RETURN, AS THE BELT I USED SNAPPED AS WELL......

Drive belt
Rather than buying new vax carpet cleaner, I thought that trying to repair our carpet cleaner was an option . Well I did successfully complete the repair by following the simple instructions ( very pleased with my self ) can't fault the service and product or the fast delivery .👍👍🏆

For the vacuum
Got these for my hoover as the old belt snapped these are a great price and really easy to put on

Very hard to stretch
It says it’s very stretchy. What it means is make sure you you have very tiny hands and have the ability to stretch rubber. Because that’s simple enough. It weren’t kidding when it says it looks small. Almost too small. Got it on though. Might die tomorrow when I turn it on! Fingers crossed this one don’t snap
