I've used this battery for exactly a week, and it seems to be working fine. However, only time will tell if it lasts in the long run. I plan to update my review after a year to share my experience with others. I encourage people who have used this battery for a while to do the same so that others can make an informed decision before buying it.I found the instructional video to be a bit confusing, especially the part about opening the case. To open it, you need to heat up the glue that's locking the screen in place. If the glue is hard, you won't be able to open it. Luckily, I had a heat pad that I used on my back, which I could also use for this purpose. However, others may not have access to such tools, so it's important to keep this in mind before buying.

Great product. I was a bit skeptical replacing my iphone 8 battery with a different brand and capacity of OEM. However, I am completely happy with this product. Battery lasted over a day on a camping trip I went on over the weekend, still had 30% left during the drive back. Cheap price for a good quality battery. Highly recommend.

I followed the video link given in the box. The video only gives instructions on how to remove the battery and not install the new one. The new battery install needs direction: how to position the adhesives (you only get one shot as I found out!) and how to make sure the connectors are in place before you put the internal cover back on. I ended up closing the phone and the connectors were not pushed in and also I damaged the waterproofing of the part in front of the battery because I installed the adhesive wrong. Finally, I think they should provide instructions in the video as to drain the battery first (not just on the box) and explain that the twizzers are really sharp and can easily rupture the battery jacket (may cause fire). I recommend also getting some type of micro adhesive to re-stick the perimeter case as the video instructions to cut he border, but there's no replacement in the kit.

It would be a good idea to have a watch repair metal pry. You can purchase them and they do not cost much.

Doing a screen and battery replacement, for some reason the phone would boot up, the screen and buttons work as expected, but the phone kept power cycling, wouldn't recognize the charger, and wouldn't connect to cellular.

The box this comes in is high quality. Tools are also very high quality. Battery is working good so far. Feels like it is lasting longer than original it replaced. Shows up on battery health 100% capacity. Comes with gasket and adhesive. I bought the official shaped adhesive separately as this only has two long strips which would stick to a half circle shaped thing inside the phone. That could be problematic and it’s hard enough to do this so didn’t want problems. I suppose you could cut the strips it comes with. I went with this battery because it has a little more capacity versus others that have a lot more. Only way you get that capacity is adding lithium thus making the phone heavier. I’m all about light and compact. Overall satisfied and would buy again without hesitation.

Installed a few months ago on my daughters iPhone 8. I wouldn’t say installation is easy cause if you have ever done it you know is always a pain. However battery works well and just order another one to replace battery on my sons iPhone after ordering a battery from other company that doesn’t work.
