Well made and great price. Worked out perfectly for a PA system on a Kenworth W-900L

It is stiff if used with the vinyl jacket.If used for shorter runs say 6 to 8 foot I would highly recommend to cut out vinyl jacket and than tightly windup wires into a tight spiral ... it rejects noise very well this way and is much much flexible without vinyl jacket .Sound is surprising clean with low distortion and good tone , very low noise floor and clean treble .I would use it without plugs and just cut off an inch every 2 yrs so oxidation will not become an issue

Installed this wire with some little daytons in an lcr.1 config. the need for a black jacket was my main driver for this particular speaker wire. 16awg is plenty for my little 40w speakers.As a person who often prefers a razorknife for simple wire stripping, i found the jacket on this wire particularly suited. the black outer jacket was good and tough before it released with a stretch-pull. the individual wire jackets were almost doughy, to the point that i could give a quick swipe around with the knife and pull the jacket off with my thumbnail and index finger. the copper wire was fairly pliable. as an older nerd, ive seen bad metallurgy in copper wire, where cheaper metals are introduced to create an amalgam that is brittle or pocketed or otherwise electrically or chemically ruined. this stuff is fine. basic inexpensive copper without brittleness or current-handling or impedence problems. .024ohm in the whole spool of 50'.which is fine.nice and thin, jacket has footage label.this is perfect for high fidelity audio applications where oxygen free high quality copper is required.

Really stiff, but works good. Somethings stiff is better when you want to bend in place and it stay there.

It's cheap, but thats a bit of a detriment. The outer sheath is very difficult to cut and the wires are stubborn to skin. Worth the money, but if you want something easier to work with, you may want to try something else.If you don't mind messing around with the ends a bit, its worth it.

It is exactly as advertised, sounds fine, and is the correct gauge, so five stars.It’s my own fault for underestimating this cable when other folks called out the cables’ stiffness in their reviews.It is extremely stiff cable. Like two straightened coat hangers wrapped in a Slim Jim casing. This cable is not going around any bend without a fight.Unless you intend to actually run this through walls I’d take a pass and get something a little more workable. If you are putting it walls, quit cheaping out and get a lower gauge already.

Works great for my gaming setup. Easy to cut and they have medium thick sleaves. Would buy again.

Not copper-clad, so a bit stiffer as a result, but the strength of the strands is very good. Black and red wires inside a black jacket, so plenty of insulation. I’m always pleased with Monoprice.
