Q: Anyone else's cat prefer the Maine Coon dry food to canned wet food? Ours stopped eating his wet food a few days ago and will only eat this dry now...

My maine coon and his normal cat buddies (6 of them currently cat sitting) are eating this dried and I also divide one can of wet natural balance between the 7 of them once a day. The maine coon plus 6 seem to vary when they will eat the canned and when they won't (drives me crazy). However, the vet last week asked why all the cats had such good teeth and I blamed this food because they all work so hard chewing it. I mix this with the indoor cat royal canin.

Q: Seriously, pls explain how a food with chicken by-product meal, corn, corn gluten and wheat gluten be good for my Maine Coons??

I know, I give it to mine because he throws up on other smaller food. But he is doing great on this and I don’t plan to switch. I tried and it cost me a vet bill to find it out. He is only 1/2 Maine Coon but over 18# at 3 years old. Not fat but just right. It may sound bad but sure seems to work. It’s all he gets and he likes it.

Q: Is this food appropriate for a cat under 1 year old?

I wouldn’t give it to a tiny kitten, but have fed it to my 6 month old at the time and he loved it (still does and he’s 6 years old)

Q: Can a tiny oriental eat this? the company isn’t making siamese blend so i bought this since it’s bigger like siamese one?

my tiny Maine Coon is able to eat this food. He has sharp teeth and it doesn't take much for him to crush it up and eat it. It's the only food he doesn't throw up.

Update : cats start puking after eating this ugly productThis food is supposed to be one of the best options for large cats such as Maine Coon, the Siberian, Ragdoll and Serval. Many Serval owners I know, say that their Servals love this food. Unfortunately this product has gone bad. Royal Canin is selling substandard food.Pros+ Good packaging+ Large cat breeds love this foodCons- inconsistent quality in this type- Price keeps varying, its 2200 in the market, 2800 on this website and at times 4500 (crazy)- Too many sellers trying to sell this product at double or triple the market price
