I can't believe that I finally found this set of supplemental clipper guide combs to use with Wahl hair clippers for home short crew cuts and fade haircuts! They are well designed with guide fins for the shorter lengths that make shorter cuts possible with a precision not possible with the standard clipper comb guides that come standard with Wahl hair clipper sets. These custom guide combs are a must for forming a long lasting flat top haircut free-hand, especially for those men who cut their own hair. The micro variations in length in increments of 1/32" allow for an even and seamless fading outward to edges, side to side and front to back out from the central "landing strip" on the very top of the head; and the fin extensions allow for keeping the guide comb flat across the head and fading into the transition from shorter hair into the longer hair at the edges. I would imagine that they would work just as well for those who cut others hair at home, especially for their boys, who want to create and maintain a clean crisp professional haircut look for shorter style crew cuts without looking choppy and hacked.Some of the reviews I have read suggest that these guards are cheap and brittle and break easily and do not stay on the clipper; but in my experience, unless perhaps somebody doesn't know what they're doing, they attach very securely and stay in place on the clipper blade with a very good metal clip design, and they are sturdy enough to hold up without breaking unless they are handle and tossed around roughly. There are also some complaints that the cutting blade hits the edge of the clipper guard; but I don't think this happens unless the clipper cutting blade has not been properly adjusted for its zero default setting.I would definitely recommend these clipper guards to add to your home haircutting kit if you want to have the tools you need to make clean, fresh, and precise shorter crew cut men and boy's styles like a professional.

Since the 90’s these were very popular and are still very well suited for my Wahl clippers. After years of knowing them, I recently bought the kit and they are as good as I remember. Especially for Tapering. Will stay in place, fraction increment sizes compliment well the Wahl ones and glide smooth on every cut.

Stay on without falling off

Overall, love it, a single grove on 000 broke after just 3 uses is my only complaint.

worse idea is to get a "universal" fit. its suppose to fit everything, but not quite. I got these attachments for my WAHL Senior clippers, and tossed them into the garbage after a few uses where it came loose during use. the metal hinge on the attachment is poorly designed, and cannot remain centered on my WAHLs. it makes the clippers warp a little bit to one side at the teeth, and makes the right teeth edge higher than the leftside teethedge. ruining haircuts, when this attachments warps in the middle of cutting someones hair. The original WAHL attachments dont warp like these do, so threw these away. and got a set of black and metal attachments that were more similar to the Wahl OEM attachments

I cut my kids' curly course hair and these guards are great. Just got them today. The guards actually stay on the clippers and don't pop off like some I have used in the past. For the record they fit my BGR clippers. Thumbs up!!
