Overall, it is a good product. We had a mouse that got into our silverware drawer. We caught it, but I still am paranoid that another will come in, and I'm tired of washing all of the silverware. I bought this so I don't have to worry, and for the ease of a hinge opening rather than a lid that I have to completely take off.I was worried that the top would be too tall for the drawer, but it fits nicely when closed. I can close the drawer.It's easy to open and close. I wish that it had a lip, so if desired it could be closed firmly, but I like it enough without. The kids can easily open and close.My picture shows 16 big spoons in 1 section with probably no room for more. There's 11 knives, with room for a lot more in another section. I didn't count the kids silverware, but you can see they are there, and all of our forks are in the dishwasher. This is all for your reference. In this drawer I used to have a silverware tray with serving utensils, and bigger knives, but this didn't hold them so I moved them to a different mouseless(so I believe) drawer.I wish this unit was bigger. It could be a bit longer, and a tad wider.It does what it needs to do. Sure there are things that I wish it could be different, but it gets the job done.

I would think that the main purpose for ordering a cutlery tray with a lid is because you use it to camp or travel. It’s a nice looking tray but I think it could be made better and more of a value for the money by making 3 changes. First, the sidewalls of the individual dividers should go all the way up to the lid so the utensils don’t move during travel. Secondly, the individual compartments, and the unit itself, should be longer. We actually had some standard forks and knives that did not completely fit in the slots. Finally, the purpose, at least for me for buying a cutlery tray with a lid was to keep everything in place when traveling or camping. Guess what! The lid does not lock itself to the base section. Seems crazy to me. If you are thinking about ordering, and have the same needs as our family, I would keep looking through the other listings.

It keeps all the flatware in place and clean. We bought it in 2021 and it still in good shape. We highly recommend this utensils storage container. We have it on the counter, but it can be place in a drawer also, depend on the drawer size.

This utensil organizer is just what I was looking for to keep the occasional roach off my silverware. It fits perfectly in my drawer (my drawers are rather small) and I don't have to take the lid completely off to get the silverware, which is convenient and hugely appreciated. The lid can pop off too and the whole thing is fairly easy to clean. And all my silverware is able to fit (more or less) into the compartments with the lid shut.One thing I've noticed though is that the lid doesn't have much of a firm grip on the tray when it's closed, so if you're planning to travel with this, you should make sure the lid is bound or taped shut and more secure somehow.

Exactly what I needed. I can pop the top off completely for easy cleaning and it fits all my utensils. Only wish would be that it would latch closed even slightly, just enough to keep little hands and animals from getting it open.

The media could not be loaded. Love this, I added photos to see the comparison between this and the standard utensil holder. This held everything just fine as you can see. Fits in my drawer without any issue and opens very easily, this inside of my drawer measures 3 inches in height, the utensil holder is 2 inches in height, my drawer comes out far enough to easily lift the lid.
