Longer Screws
These screws are just like the screws that hold sockets/light switches to the wall but are longer (twice as long as far as I can see). It was amazing that I found these when I searched for "longer wall socket screws).Lets hope that they are not too long as I would have to shorten them.

Easier fitting
The extra length makes it easier to fit the screws whilst the faceplate is further away from the wall.Thread is good and consistent.

Slightly narrower than 3.5mm
I ordered these screws to replace some shorter ones I had to fix some cabinet door handles. Unfortunately these ones seem to be slightly narrower than 3.5mm so would not tightly fix the handle.I ended up buying some other screws from an alternative source than provided a tighter fit.They may of course be fine fox electrical sockets, but have not tried them for that use.
