Pilgrim Home and Hearth 19008 Victorian Fireplace Tool Set, Brushed Bronze

This Napa Forge tool set is not only beautiful but has the quality workmanship for which I have been searching. It was important to me not to have any assembled parts that could loosen over time, but to be completely hand forged, as well as look elegant in my living room, and this set definitely fits the bill. The price was the best I have seen in my research, as well.

Nice and sturdy, thoughtfully well-made, with very nice brushed bronze finish (not pure bronze, if you are looking for yellow coloring - but rather dark metal with bronze accents coming through). Quite tall and slightly heavy (both are positives for me) and, as a result, quite stable on the floor, this set does not need a lot of room, but is always at a hand's reach when you need it.In short - as I noted in the review header - as good as it gets. Needless to say, I am very happy with the set.

These are really heavy duty and are worth the price, they look and work great.

Good quality. Each tool is one solid piece so there is nothing to loosen. Tongs took a bit to get used to, (different than my old set) but are well made with no play. They can pickup very large logs using two hands. As for children safety, curly bits are not sharp and the stand is very stable. Prices vary widely so shop around.
