Honeywell 136434BA EAC Ionizer Wire Fits 16" Air Cleaner

Drain line on air conditioner clogged and realized air cleaner wasn’t working. After investigating and researching found ionizer wire broken. Order this one, cleaned cells and filters, replaced ionizer wire, and air cleaner fired right up! Love it when things work out cause that doesn’t always happen!

After 16+ years of continuous use, two ionizer wires in my Honeywell electronic air filter broke in the same month. These two cost about $42 total, half of what the service repairman would charge, not including their $120 per hour service call fee to do the replacement. After viewing an online video, It took me a couple minutes to carefully install them so I wouldn't break the new wires. The electronic air filter worked immediately on switching it on.

Clip pulled off wire upon taking out of package. This ionizing wire is as thin if not thinner than piano wire. Almost impossible to reattach. So much for $20, right!? No response from vendor.

Installed one fine. Second one the clip pulled off the wire. Money down the drain. $16 item. American craftsmanship. What a hell hole this country has become.
