its bigger in diameter then my inline filter i already have. the description wasn't clear. however it works great , used it for a batch today. and it performed perfect. this kept most of the pellet hops from going through my plate chiller. was a must needed addition to my tools in the brew house.Thanks.

I use it on my Honey pump and it filters out pieces of wax . Great value for money.

This filter was absolutely great. I was able to run a very hoppy beer through my playe chiller and pump with no problem. I was amazed at how well this preformed. It was super easy to use, and clean afterwards.When I went to clean it out it was completely packed with hops and solids, but the beer kept flowing with no problems. Beer going into the fermenter was was the cleanest and clearest beer I have ever start with. Definitely a good addition to my brewery.

Attention fellow Amazon customers: please do not spend your $ on inferior Chinese products such as these. This filter in particular consists on several pieces that are poorly tack-welded together, with several tiny gaps in between each piece. These small gaps make great homes for various materials, contaminates, and bacteria to collect in, compromising whatever liquids you plan to work with in the long term. Dernord's fittings are also not all stainless steel as advertised. Many of their various parts (nuts, bolts, lock washers, etc.) are inferior chrome and/or zinc plated steel. Both zinc and chrome coatings will quickly wear away or flake after normal use and maintenance (scrubbing, polishing, etc.). Do not use Dernord products for remotely corrosive liquids, you will 100% regret it.
