After reading the reviews (I always read the bad reviews first!) I was apprehensive about purchasing this product. I kept shopping around but this one kept calling me. I finally bought this as a gift for my Harry Potter/puzzle fanatic fiancé. Judging from the artwork I believed she would find this difficult for the most part since it did not have solid lines aside from text and crests. I was worried about the missing pieces that seemed to be the main reason for the bad reviews. All in all, there weren’t any missing pieces, and my fiancé said it was one of the most difficult puzzles she’s assembled in a while and loved the artwork. Fully satisfied fanatic...The last piece was saved for my son :)

Love the picture and the challenge it was to put together. Kept my 9 year old and I engaged for several weeks. Only downfall is we got it all together only to find we were missing 1 piece 🙁

It took my husband and I a couple weeks to complete this puzzle. It is challenging but worth it. All pieces were there. I read reviews about missing pieces but I’m thinking they lost them after opening the package. We have glued it together and will be framing it. This was too much work to disassemble.

This is a beautiful and challenging puzzle! I knocked off a star for two reasons. The first is that many of the pieces weren't cut all the way through. I had to separate a bunch of them which of course ripped the pieces. The second is that the image printed on the cover of the box isn't the full puzzle. The complete image is printed smaller on the back of the box. If you're like me and you rely heavily on the complete image when putting together puzzles, this may drive you crazy. Especially on a puzzle like this where you need to look for the tiniest details.

My granddaughter loves this book, one of the best gifts she gave for Christmas! Waiting for the second book to come out!

Took some time...and note that the front of the box is NoT the full picture of the puzzle. Only the back of the box had it all for reference. An insert fold out would have been helpful to have. In the end a piece was missing...but we aren’t sure if it wasn’t even in the box or our dog ate it.

Good: challenging and fun (it's a puzzle, they are usually fun)Bad: missing a piece right on top of the R in "Potter", the puzzle's finish produced significant glare, colors were sort of dullI wouldn't buy this particular one again. The glare was annoying, especially coupled with the fact that there were a lot of dark, similarly colored pieces. This was my first puzzle in a looong time and I didn't realize that there are "good" quality brands that don't have that sort of glare. The missing piece is annoying, because now I don't know what to do with the puzzle-- I guess it will end up going in the trash, which feels like such a waste.

I do lots of puzzles, and lately, in order to invest the same addiction in my young Harry Potter Addicted nieces and nephews, I bought a couple of these puzzles. The artwork is deeply reminiscent of the movies. They make wonderful, frameable Memory Keepers and can condition the skill “attention to detail” without the whining, (huffing&puffing), etc... (Sorry HP HufflePuffers, no nastiness intended) Boys & Girls both love the stories and sink into the world with smiles, even when they hit a difficult section! No sadness when its finally done...Just Reach For the NEXT Puzzle!
