Was a little nervous about drilling a hole in the antlers but wrapped them in a towel, put them in a vice and went slowly. As the directions recommended. The end result is fantastic. I would recommend this mount and if I get more sheds I will buy more!

Found a good set of sheds with my daughter and needed a mount. Very easy to do. Looks great. The only thing I would recommend is to use different wall mounting screws or be sure to pre drill the wall before tightening them up all the way. The ones provided broke off. Not a big deal, it can be avoided.

Once we received this, we were happy with it. At first my husband put the horns upside down lol but that was on us. It looks great. We will buy another.

I had my first set of antlers mntd by a local taxidermist (for $165), but they always looked odd/off to me. It was finally shown to me that the on the mount (according to the hunt photos), that the antlers were placed too closely on the skull mount. So I spent the money for this mount, and following the directions, I now have the antlers mounted correctly.. Pictures show from left to right - Original tag picture, the "$165" mount, and then the mount I created with this kilt. I had to change out the original plaque as well.The directions were clear, easy to follow. The mount can either go directly onto a wall or onto a plaque. Highly recommend this item.

Better direction

Easy to use and my mount looks great. Took about an hour and a half and most of the time was spent cutting the antlers off of the skull.

I had a rack where the skull cap broke in two, so was looking for something I could just attach the antlers to for display as it was a nice rack.Had to saw the remaining skull cap off, drill the 1/4 inch holes, hammer in the pegs, and mount them. However I couldn't get the antlers to stay set despite the tightening screw underneath. The weight of the rack kept dragging them down no matter what I did.I finally mounted the thing to the wall, and then put the antlers on, and used tape to hold them in place while I poured glue to set the rotating bases where I wanted them. I left it 48 hours and removed the tape and sorry to say they again wouldn't hold in place. After having lived with it for a few days while waiting for the glue to dry. I decided that I didn't really like the overall look of the thing, so took it down, repaired the wall, and ordered another type of mount. I have a smaller set of antlers I can use this mount for in my garage. But given the price, I must say I was disappointed in the performance and the look of the product. Maybe I'm just used to European mounts where the antlers are more downward facing and not so upright. Also I didn't like seeing the underside of it with the screws exposed when it was up on the wall. And it's a very small mount to attach heavy antlers to so it needs to be screwed into a stud as there is no weight distribution.Hope that helps another buyer out.

I was very satisfied with the product and received exactly what I had expected. Easy to follow instructions.
