Purelife herbs organic neem leaves tea (30 bags)

Neem tea was recommended to me as being good for gut health, so I decided to give it a try. I am giving this 5 stars for being pure and organic, and not for the flavor, which is rather bitter and unpleasant to me. I have found that steeping it for half of the time recommended on the package (5 minutes in stead of 10 minutes) makes it more palatable, and also adding a bit of sugar, honey, or stevia helps. Still, I think of it as being for medicinal purposes, not as a pleasurable drink to sip and linger over. It came packaged in a resealable ziplock bag, which is nice for keeping it fresh, and you get just the tea bags with no additional tags, strings, or staples, so more eco-friendly. Besides gut health, neem has other benefits as well, as it is good for oral hygiene and helps prevent cavities, works as an antiviral, and helps to purify and cleanse the blood, so is good for liver function.

This is the best Neem tea. It has totally cleaned me out and helped with my skin issues. I have even lost about 5 lbs. taking it. You must add this to your diet it is anti-bacterial, anti-viral & anti-fungal and it does the job. I love this product so much it has inspired me to grow a Neem tree in my backyard but I will still be ordering the tea. Thanks!!!

I have only had one serving so far. I like that one tea bag makes 12 ounces of tea. It tastes like neem should (bitter). That's okay. Yet I am already considering changing to a different brand due to lack of information on label. There is no way to know if it is really organic, as it is Not US Certified Organic. I would like it better if the package was labeled with quality control number, packing date and best use by date. I would also like it better if there was verification that it was grown, harvested, processed and packaged naturally and without chemicals. Fare Trade would be good as well. An ingredient list (In USA format) would be especially helpful. It seems like it should just be neem leaves, but for all I know "Neem Tea" could be a blend with other unknown ingredients. If it is purely neem leaves, the package should make that clear. I hope Purelife herbs will improve their packaging labels. I might give it a higher rating if I had better information.
