I'm sure this is not the pinnacle of products for making wooden spheres but it is practical and efficient. I'm a fairly seasoned woodworker and needed to make beads for a special project and these work well. As with any other delicate bit the key is proper setup and then execution. Send the bit slowly into the wood at high rpm and choose good stock.

Showed up in a zip lock bag, no shock for the price but went to use them and as long as you take a few seconds to center for operation you will be just fine, worked amazingly well for me other than the center burs you have to sand in the end. I think most of the snapped blades is from idiots who don't set it up right.

As I try to write text with one thumb, the drill bits broke everytime I used them. Fast slow medium, didn't matter. The warning signs of a cheesy product were there when I opened em up. One bit broke while I had my thumb too close, wouldn't recommend the experience of that either. Cheap for a reason, don't bother trying these. I did it for you, find something better.

This set is extremely cheaply made. First off, the “set” if you can call it that comes in a plastic bag like a sandwich bag. Two blades missing. One seizure screw missing. Guess I at least expected a box or store packaging... but nope.Then on the third bead the blade broke little to know pressure. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to make more than one bead.
