My baby was 4 months when we purchased this and used it and he loves it! The only thing is that we had to put him in the opposite way so he won't suffocate. I added a photo to show how we put him in the pool. I know it says starting at 3 months but it is not 3 months friendly hence the 4 stars but we will continue to use it until he grows out of it.

Perfect for the summer pool days! My baby is 6 months and 18 lbs and the L size works great! He loves to kick his feet and the covering helps keep the sun out of his eyes! Very good flotation and comes with a hand pump!
