Cute but no rhyme or reason to instructions.
I am working in this.. patience is a virtue. It had a small Crack when I received it nothing to worry about. Not for children and you can make it the way you want...just remember to sand down some places for fit. Curtains were a wash out so improvised. Also there is no real set order. You just have to figure out yourself... the Chinese to English translation is iffy and everything is in cm. So have your ruler ready! The music box is depressing music but I went ahead and put it on for just asthetics... it is coming along make sure you get a tool kit with all the Sanders and pick ups. And fast dry glue.

This is the cutest little thing!
No, the windows don't fit in the frames, but instead of trying to cram them in and subsequently breaking them, just use a dremel and it will take care of the problem. No, the instructions are not super clear, but a little common sense will help you through.

the directions are really hard to read but it is a fun little project.
Definitely not a beginner doll house. the trailer comes built already and the pieces were all there it is cute and fun but the directions are in black and white and hard to follow. I am loving it still! and there is a page with the info on contacting the seller if any pieces are missing! this house has tons of videos on youtube though so the directions aren't that big of a deal. love the colors.

So cute; Very happy!
I love this dollhouse. I have completed about half of it so far, and all the pieces seem to be there. The pieces come in labeled baggies and I noticed some pieces were in the wrong bag (I only mention it because I thought the pieces were missing at first). No big deal in the long run. The window sills were all too big for their frames. The directions say to use a knife to cut them to the correct size, but I used a Dremel tool which was quicker and easier than a knife. You could also you sandpaper.Building this dollhouse has been fun and relaxing. It's a nice break from the "real world." I was worried the project might be too complicated for me, but it's easy as long as you take your time and use the directions for guidance. I think I will buy a second Rylai dollhouse one day!Update: I finally finished the dollhouse after moving 2 times and putting it away in storage. It’s so cute and I really love it.

A Seriously Mixed Review
Yes, this is a delightfully cute DIY miniature, but it has BIG problems! Consider your options (simpler kit?) before purchasing, and decide whether or not you have the patience to persevere through the many roadblocks. First, this is a very time-consuming project with literally hundreds of very small pieces and very poor, nearly non-existent instructions. There are several assembly demonstrations on YouTube that I would highly recommend you seek out.The biggest problem is already stated here by other reviewers. NONE of the window frames, inner or outer, fit with each other or into the spaces provided on the caravan. A mild sanding did not correct the problem. I had to sand down every frame to the point that all the paint was removed. The windows have to be positioned in the frames correctly or they will interfere with the placement of the window boxes. It took hours to do this and every frame had to be repainted. I found this enormously frustrating just at the time when you want to get the basics out of the way, so that you can start on the "fun" stuff.I like the fact that there is a lot of room for improvisation with this kit. Some of the furniture pieces are painted, some not, so you can be creative with your color choices, or even paint your own decorative motifs on them. I also changed out some fabrics with others I had, or used ones that came with the kit for different purposes. If you are into polymer clay, you may want to make your own food, plates, or accessories like the pot on the stove or the canisters. Some accessories like the knife and the iced tea glasses are just not very successful, or realistic, and I found far better alternatives online. My best advice, if you chose to buy this kit, is to summon all the patience you can muster, use a Dremel tool if you have one for sanding down the window frames, use both white glue and a hot glue gun for assembly, discard the pieces you don't want to deal with (and don't feel guilty about it.) Once you get past the window frame debacle, and possibly the two lights, the rest is relatively easy and fun. I purchased this to put together with my granddaughters, aged 8 and 9, and while they enjoyed helping with parts of it, they are really too young for the complexities of this kit.In spite of the poor quality of the pieces in the kit and the sheer number of them, I am giving this three stars because the finished caravan is enchanting, and the perfect home for one of my granddaughters' Calico Critters families!

Great kit for a miniature enthusiast
This kit contains all the supplies (minus glue and batteries) to make a cute camper. Package arrived quickly. The instructions were in English and included lots of detail pictures which were super helpful. The camper was already in one large piece, so I was a little bummed, because I really like to build all the parts of my projects. But there was plenty of other pieces to assemble and decorate, so it was still lots of fun.It took me about a week, a couple of hours each day, to get everything completely, and I love how it turned out. I'll definitely be doing another kit!

Love this little camper!
One of my FAVORITE KITS! Yes it's difficult and yes some pieces have to be sanded but hey it's cheap, it's from china so just get over it and have fun with it! If something doesn't fit then don't use it. Problem solved. I pretty much scrapped everything and bought a lot of my own fabrics and paint.
