I had no idea that dried squid could be so sweet on its own. It tastes like chewy candy. I was hoping it would be more savory, so I was disappointed. However, others might like it super-sweet, so I don't want to knock off stars. It otherwise seems to be great quality--it's my first time eating dried squid, though.Edited to add: This gave me the runs. I had to stay close to the bathroom for about 4 hours. No idea why. It was the only food I ate that day that was different from what I'd previously eaten. Bummed, but there's no way I'm eating more of this.Another edit to add: Company kindly and quickly refunded upon request. This final interaction has me feeling good about them.

Big package.of squid , A little on sweet side . But not my favorite . I like slightly hot Korean squid . Spicy !!!

I like to marinate this in gochujang sauce with garlic, vinegar, sesame oil and sugar. It's been a favorite dish for my kids as a Korean side dish. Price compatible to what they sell at Korean market but I don't have to drive so it's worth getting it here. I'm subscribing it

Ingredients in the package in the photo: squid sliced. The actual ingredients on the package I received: “Squid, Salt, Sugar, Monosodium glutamate, Sorbitol, Potassium sorbate.” I’m sending them back!
