I grow a beard every winter for about four months, and while it grows fast, it tends to be tough and stiff. I’ve used oils and balms before, and they work fine. This beard butter, though, is the best I’ve tried.I apply it right after a hot shower, rubbing it in from underneath. It’s not greasy, absorbs pretty quickly, and leaves my beard feeling soft, shaped, and comfortable all day. Since it’s the only product I use, I can confidently say that all the improvements in my beard’s look and feel come from this butter.The only heads-up: The company is small, so shipping can take a couple of days. It’s absolutely worth the short wait, just plan ahead.

ive kept a full bear for 25 years and was a hairstylist for 10 years. This is a great waterbased product, that conditions and calms the beard and lets it dry with a little bit of control/hold but does not look oily/greasy or feel like there's any product in there. Would probably work as a good hairstyling product in a pinch.Currently my beard is around 8 inches long and looks fairly civilized when I do the following regimen. After I shampoo and condition (key step) my beard and run a detangler comb through it through it, I lightly pad my beard dry. I work a dime size dallup into my palms and work into my beard gently while my beard is wet, and then leave it alone. The more you mess with it the more unruly it will become.While you're working it in, It may suds up a little and has a very mild natural smell that DOES NOT LINGER when it dries. I cant stand the beard or hair products that smell till you wash them out, this isn't one. If needed between showers, I gently wet my beard and work it in as mentioned above. Probably would take too much product to use if you tried to work it in dry.Definitely worth a try if your looking to tame your ferrell beard.
