Lexus 17801-0P051, Air Filter

Ease of replacement. OEM quality.

Initially I had installed non-genuine Lexus filter, which the seller claims it fits Lexus RX. That filter fits (kinda). After installing the air-filter and closing the lid, I could see the edge of the filter because the lid did not close tightly. I am not a mechanic, but I was concerned. Hence, I ordered the genuine Lexus filter from Lexus dealer through Amazon. I paid twice more than non-genuine filter (including extra shipping charge of $10.00).Genuine filter arrived in the FEDEX box (looks and feels pretty sturdy enough to protect the filter) only 2 days after I placed the order. I have just replaced the filter. The lid closes perfectly. Although I spent total $40, for the peace of my mind, it's the money well spent.

Original air filter from a REAL Lexus dealership. This is not something you want to skimp on. It’s also never going to be a fake coming from the dealer. Great turnaround time.

I like this filter much better than the last one I bought at the local Toyota dealership for my 2016 Highlander. That one is a newer part but is thinner does not feel as solid. Will come back and buy again next time.
