I just received the 18” kinky curly drawstring ponytail today and I am extremely happy! First of all, I haven’t worn a clip on ponytail in decades. I am natural and mostly wear my hair that way. I came across this style as I was researching ideas for vacation hair. Didn’t have time to get my hair braided. I searched for hours, stumbled upon this, looked at other options, until I decided that this seemed like the best option for a reasonable price.I love big hair so I was searching for something full as well as soft and quality. I was excited, yet, nervous and did know what to truly expect. The hair arrived in a plastic bag with the company logo. It doesn’t appear too full in the packaging, but, once you take it out, you can see that it has good density. I was also pleasantly surprised that there were 4 combs because I thought that there would only be 2. Extra security! I tried it on, fluffed it up and it looks AMAZING!I just cowashed it and there was very minimal shedding (barely any). I did notice a few red strands of hair so I had to take those out. Hopefully it still looks good when it dries. I’m very satisfied! Also, the hair does seem to be a true natural black color. I have a mixture of 3b, 3c and 4a hair. This seems to blend pretty well, especially the more you play with it.

Hair peace was everything it smelled so please wash it when it arrives can be straightened and restyled.

This was the first time I ever got a human hair drawstring ponytail, so I was pretty excited. When I took it out of the bag, it was cute, fluffy, and soft. The texture was very much like type 4b hair, which is what I have. It was a promising start, but after a few minutes of feeling the hair, and taking a closer look at the construction of the hairpiece, I noticed this STRONG smell...The odor triggered 1980's childhood memories of being around people who just got jerry curls, and this thing smelled like a dozen jerry curled heads had just walked into my room! I got light-headed, I had trouble breathing, and I felt seasick! It might not have been jerry curl juice, but whatever perming solution they used to get the hair curly must have been extra strength, professional-grade stuff... only it was like they put a bucket full of it on this one little hair piece!I'm super sensitive to the synthetic fragrances that are used in most beauty products, and the products I use on my hair/on my body are unscented or very lightly scented. I use unscented shampoo/lotion, argon oil, shea butter and aloe vera gel. That's about all that I can handle without getting sick. I thought scrubbing the cap with baking soda, and soaking it in lemon juice for an hour would work, but I don't think any products that I can use would have been able to get that smell out, even if I washed it 10 times!Maybe curly human hair extensions are not for me, because they will probably have some kind of perm on them to make them curly. Or maybe it's the inexpensive human hair extensions that I should avoid. It would be better to save up my coins for high quality, unprocessed hair extensions that are well-made. They will probably last longer, and they will hopefully be not so stinky. At any rate, I decided to return it, because my ability to breathe is far more important than a cute hairstyle.

So I was VERRRYY skeptical to purchase mostly because I couldn’t find a decent review for the PONYTAILS. However the few people that actually did review the ponytails did not steer me wrong.I got the 14 inch because it was priced decent and I figured if I got a bad product I wouldn’t mind missing out on $40. To my surprise it’s a great ponytail for me specifically because I’m growing my hair out from a buzzcut and want something realistic but still cute and effortless to wear during my transition stages to shoulder length.It has that basic wet and wavy look when you wet it and it’s super soft so I’d suggest a twist out, flexi rod set or something of the sort to really give it a more realistic look depending on your hair texture of course. And it does shed a bit. Not sure if that’s because it’s fresh out the pack but I might update after more wear.Overall I plan to purchase the 20 inch as my summer ponytail when I want to be a little extra 😜

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to love this ponytail, but it is a no go for me. After reading so many positive reviews I purchased it. I found about two semi negative reviews which mirrored my experience. The length was exaggerated. I was supposed to have had a 20 inch and paid extra for it. The only tracks that might have been 20 was the 4 thin tracks in the back. The rest of the hair was thin and patchy. It wasn't worth the money I spent, nor do I believe it is 100% human hair. This is why I hate being curly hair, it is such a deception when it comes to the length. Tracks were showing and the hair doesn't feel human at all. It feels nice coming out of the pack, but run your fingers through it and immediately the texture will change. I literally had to buy human bundles to fill in this ponytail. Now it's cute, full and the actual inches I paid for. At this rate, I'll be making my own ponytails. This has to me the third time this has happened. Fake length, and fake texture.

The media could not be loaded. I just got the hair. Packaging is cute! The hair did have smell to it but, that went away after co-washing it. I am a 4c natural. I have a lot of hair. I wanted this hair for protective styling for work. My hair when straightened goes past my arm pits. I will do I twist out with my hair in order to blend. I will do a update for that soon. The hair is very soft as well. The lace they used on the weft is flexible and keeps from pulling on the hair so I like that. My hair is close to a color 4. So I will have to dye the hair. I got the kinky curly clips 20inch. I order 2 sets of clip ins! I was going to go with a 16inch. I am glad I didn’t due to the fact it’s kinky curly. The price not bad at all. I will do a update later for the longevity of the hair.
