Where has this pot been all my life.
I have an induction cooktop. This is the ideal pot for it. It boils a perfect pot of pasta quickly. I'm so happy I bought this. Can't wait to try a roast next. Just arrived an hour ago! Love it! I'd give it a 10 if I could. It's just heavy enough and nowhere near as heavy as most of the cast iron pans. The enamel finish cleaned up beautifully. I bought one of those "coppery" pans and couldn't get pasta to cook. Buy this one! It's great.

Enamel chipping on handles
I purchased this pot 3 years ago and have used it infrequently. I washed it by hand and always took care when storing it. Recently I noticed that the enamel is chipping from underneath the handles. It was never bumped or abused. I'm shocked and disappointed at the poor quality. Wish I could return it.

Dangerous glazing problem
I was excited to purchase this dutch oven, as I wanted a good quality dutch oven with less weight than the traditional cast iron variety. I love my carbon steel frying pan, so this seemed like a great alternative. The first time I used the dutch oven I purchased was last week. Early in the day I used it to braise some beef. The pan was sitting soaking in our kitchen sink for a few hours. While we were enjoying our evening dinner, pieces of glazing from one of the handles started shooting off the pan, landing about 6 ft. away from the sink. Shards of the glazing were all over our kitchen. My husband washed the pan, then wrapped the handle with some plastic wrap and set the pan on our kitchen table. I was planning to box it back up in the morning to return for a refund. In the morning, there were pieces of glazing all over the kitchen table, chair, and floor, which was perplexing since the handle had been wrapped. That's when I noticed that the second handle had done the very same thing sometime while we were sleeping. The pieces of glazing are sharp and would be dangerous if they got into food. My advice - don't buy this pan!!

Disappointed!
One of the handles on the cooking pot has almost chipped off -I've had it since June and the pot hasn't had any hard knocks or drops. Is buying a better pot the solution??
