Very good quality
Pretty expensive bike compared to everything else on the market but I got it on cyber Monday. Got this for my grandson’s 8th birthday, had to adjust the handlebars back and the seat almost all the way down and he is 53” tall. I always wanted one growing up in the early 60’s but had to settle for a knockoff brand back then. Just saw 2 different episodes of American Pickers and both the original ones were worth $1,200 but both had hand brakes and one had a stick shift. Rear tire is a slick which is kind of neat. Very easy to assemble, basically the handle bars, seat and screw in the peddles. Quality seems really good, actually better than I expected but only time will tell. Everyone that sees it thinks its really cool.

Two ordered, two damaged/defective...
The first one I got, which was supposed to be a birthday present, was covered with scratches and the seat had a hole in it. I ordered a replacement and the brand label was falling off the seat of the bike and there were scuffs on the seat and the tires looked dirty. They very clearly are sending second-rate garbage. I didn't bother ordering a third replacement. Don't bother ordering something like this online. See it in person, inspect it in person, and then decide whether to buy it. Don't wait for a week or more just to get something messed up -- and, more than once. Even for a $100 bike, scratches in the paint, holes in the fabric, and a brand tag falling off is unacceptable. But, for $300? No way. Not a chance.

Good News - Bad News
The Schwinn arrived safe and sound in a large box. There was not a scratch or dent on it anywhere. I assembled the bike in less than an hour. I rode the bike and it felt steady and strong. After a few miles the pedal crank began to resist. I parked the bike and removed the pedal crank and found that one of the bearings had lost its roller balls. I purchased a new set of bearings for around $4 and reinstalled the pedal crank using new grease. The bike is now pedaling smooth and free. I'm still happy with my purchase.
