Good stuff!
First time using after getting a tattoo. Did keep my skin soft and helped healing. Not overly greasy. Not a thick consistency. Easy to smooth.

Moisturizes well, easy to apply.
This is a good product. It moisturizes well without being too thick or difficult to apply. The smell is unique, earthy, not unpleasant but not as nice as others. Still, doesn't linger so no matter. It is a great price and goes a long way for the size of the bottle. I've tried other very expensive brands and I came across this when my usual was out of stock. I was surprised by the quality and effectiveness. So much so that I completely switched brands to this. I will say, I see no enhancement in color of my tattoos. No brand that claims this that I've tried has enhanced color of my tattoos. However, I've always taken good care of all of mine from after care to maintenance so I really haven't based my choices on the enhancement gimmick... it is a gimmick, you know that right? I recommend you try this brand and see if it works for your chemistry. You'll save a ton if it works for you and the care it provides is very good.

Soft skin, absorbs quickly, not greasy or oily, scentless, great price for great product, I use this on all my tattoos and over a decade later they still look fresh - very effective

Quality product from a quality brand.
I have always used tattoo goo products and was thrilled to bring some of my older tattoos back to life with this lotion. I have some tattoos that are over 20 years old that were becoming dull. After using this product daily, I'd say after about three months my tattoos started looking significantly better. I'm very happy with the results. I only wish that it came in a bigger bottle. The scent is nonexistent.

This product works
This greatly helps with the tattoo healing process. I use it once in the morning, after showering, and again at night. I pat the area dry with a paper towel and let it air dry. Yes, your tattoo will flake a bit. Then, I use the Tattoo Goo Aftercare Lotion afterward.

Caused me Personally to get pimples...
This is something I personally should have thought about, but didn't at the time. I have both my forearms fully tattooed now, my left is the new large one. My right, I used another unsented plain lotion - after saniderm use - and had no issues. My left, I started using this and it seemed fine at first, but then a week or so ago, I noticed a pimple under part of the tattoo, at which turned into a white head and dried out on its own, leaving the tattoo entirely okay. But today, I noticed another sore spot directly beside where the previous white head was, that feels like a more under the skin pimple that will eventually rise. I'm already prone to breakouts, just not on my arms or legs. I'm typically more likely to breakout due to oils, and I already have very oily skin. Honestly, I didn't think about it because "It's my arm..." but I'm 99% sure, this having a large Olive Oil base is probably what caused the two small pimples. I'm extremely diligent about making sure my tattoos stay clean and bacteria free, and the only thing that gets put on after washing - I use the Tattoo Goo wash - is this lotion. I fully trust that this is a widely good product based on all the amazing reviews, however personally with my skin type it didn't work out and caused the small breakout. So if you also have oily skin that get irritated by adding even more oils, I don't personally recommend.
