Definitely need
You definitely need this tool to make it easier to install the chains. You may have to move the cam closest to the firewall a tad with a wrench but without this tool it would be a difficult install

Made changing timing chains a fast jop on Cadillac CTS 3.6 took three hours to complete.

MOEBULB Tool for the right job!
