Great clover seed!
Ordered this to repair dead and bare spots in my yard due to my dogs. I wanted something that grew quickly and would withstand 3 dogs. I am not disappointed. The seed required very little ground preparation. I scratched up the area with a small hand rake, watered prior to laying the seed and covered it with hay and watered again. I did this when there was rain in the forecast. In a week I had small clover heads and now, full clover coverage in all the areas I seeded. We’ve cut it, walked on it, dogs peed on it and it looks great still! I ordered an additional bag and plan to order more in the fall for over-seeding. Very pleased with this product and highly recommend!

Planted in September = green in November
JULY 2019 UPDATE: We haven’t watered or put any chemicals on our lawn! I have uploaded a picture showing our clover mix lawn and what a pretty shade of green it is compared to the neighbors grass lawn. We still need to mow once a week, but now there are hardly any clover flowers. The grass still dies when the dogs pee on it, but the clover does not. I’m super curious to see what happens during the dryer months of the summer when the lawns all turn brown. I just moved my star rating from four to five stars. This really is one of the best decisions that we have ever made. I will update again during the drought months.JUNE 2019 Update: We LOVE our lawn! Yes, we are getting little white flowers, but we can mow them away. As of right now, we have not yet trained it to stay short. We are mowing as often as a regular lawn. BUT, the dog pee doesn’t kill this. The dog pee still kills the grass. We haven’t watered it once yet. We have little to NO other weeds. But that being said, I bought a weeding tool in early spring and hand popped out all the dandelions, crab/Johnson grass and broad leaf weeds, they haven’t come back. I will update again during the drought months.UPDATE March 9, 2019. The third picture you see is our lawn now. We are very happy with our decision to go green and stop pouring chemicals on our lawn. I must say that our lawn is way greener than any of our neighbors lawns. We bought another bag, but haven’t put it down yet. We are going to use it in a few spots that were missed last year. My husband told me to buy it before they ran out, so I did. So far we are just using this in our backyard where our puppies play and go potty. I will keep updating. I’m waiting for the summer drought before moving it up to five stars, but as of now I’m completely happy. We spent $3,000 for sod last May that all died despite a $400 water bill. Since we have two new puppies, we decided not to treat it with chemicals. Our last dog died of cancer at age six, so we refuse to put down chemical fertilizers. Then my husband told me about clover and I said, “absolutely not!” He asked me to just read the article and then think about it. After reading it, I agreed it would be the best way to have a green lawn and still be healthy for our puppies and the environment. In September we planted one five pound bag along of clover with two 40 pound bags of grass seed in our back yard which is about 75 wide by 75 deep and covered it with some tacky straw. The grass came up right away, but petered out. The clover started coming up within five days, but stayed small and sparse for about six weeks. Now it’s November and we have had a couple of freezes and it’s a pretty green. The neighbors lawns have all started to die off, as well as the field behind us. I will post pictures of the color difference. I look forward to seeing what will happen this winter and next spring as well as the summer drought. I will keep this updated, mainly because the older I get the less I remember, so I will be able to look back on this and know whether or not to buy some more. The first picture shows our lawn up close with zero chemicals and the neighbors lawn on the other side of the fence with his “professional “ lawn care. The second picture shows the field behind us has all died off. This past summer, our new sod was as brown as that field. What you see in our lawn is 95 percent clover and very little grass. In fact, the brown you see is the grass.FOR REFERENCE: We live in upper middle Tennessee where the “soil” is mostly red clay.

Very Easy to Grow
Have planted two bags of these seed and ordered two more. I used a simple grass planting tool to break up the ground surface. …I suspect that is very important. They were peaking up out of the soil in less than a week in Caliche (really bad Texas soil). Hoping this will help improve the soil and require less cutting. My only complain, there is far too little seed for my requirements. …costing me a lot more than I would have thought. Will try a seed spreader with the next two bags.

Sprouted quickly and looks beautiful
I'm gradually replacing my lawn with clover, and I love how this micro clover is looking so far. It sprouted quickly and is doing well I'm both full sun and full shade. The seeds are tiny but tinted purple so it's easy to see where you're sprinkling them.

This stuff works!!! So pleased
I bought this for our lawn to help with weeds, because we don't use cancerous chemicals. It is growing nicely in three weeks. It just blends in with our existing grass. We will be mowing it short to keep it short for a few weeks this year and hopefully it will stay that way. Will update on weeds.I also bought for the daycare our kids go to. That yard has never been able to hold grass (big tree, shade) and gets super muddy. Planted in cooler, rainy weather (for a week), which is critical. You cannot plant when hot and dry. The first three pictures are before and the last two are three weeks after. I could not be more pleased. I am planning on patching up some spots that didn't take due to heavy rain. This was super easy to plant. Used machine to rough up yard and threw the seed out. Put fertilizer over it to keep birds from eating.

BUY THIS!!!
These photos are after less than one week!! This is one of the few reviews I’ve ever left on Amazon. This product did not disappoint. Rake the area and clear it of debris. I didn’t even bother to break up or disturb the soil much. I hand-sprinkled the clover. Kept it wet – it’s been almost 90° here in central Virginia, day after day, and I’ve watered it two, maybe three times a day. It started germinating seemingly the same day, and I saw green shoots within three days. I’m using it to fill in bare spots and places where I no longer want to mow. It doesn’t seem to mind whether you put it in full sun or shade. I wish I could order this by the bushel!

Results may vary
Purchased to make a mowless lawn for dog potty area. Wanted to reduce weeds and have low maintenance. Product was easy to use and grew quickly. I did have a slug problem amd a few places that didn't take so I had to order more 2 separate times to help it grow perfect. The first bag I got that is covering 95% of the area is definitely not micro. It's about 3-4 inches tall. It will work but bot exactly what I was looking for. The spots that I filled in are much smaller sized and are more what I originally wanted for the whole area.In addition, there are some weed seeds present. I know this is inevitable but the weed is a clover look alike with little spiral seeds that get stuck in dog fur. The only way to tell the difference is little yellow flowers that grow in the weed. Wouldn't be a big problem but they are hard to pull because they weave through and under the clover. This is an easy product to use. Grows well. Easy to order. Probably would be amazing for erosion control and fields. Not sure how'd I feel about it to supplement a grass lawn but mowing may have better results.

Bon produit
J'ai étendue une mince couche de nouvelle terre, semé puis j'ai gardé humide 1-2 semaines. J'ai maintenant un beau tapis de trèfle où presque rien ne poussait avant. Merci! J'ai commandé un 2e sac!

Will germinate in a week
Very happy with how quick it germinated, everywhere I planted. Will buy more soon to fill in bare lawn spots and help fixate Nitrogen in my lawn.

Okay, so far…
When I direct sowed in my lawn initially (mid April) germination was slow and low percentage. It was about two weeks before I could see tiny clovers. As a test, I planted some indoors in a pot by a sunny window. Fewer than half germinated. But in a second test, started in late April with fresh potting mix, I have had a much better germination rate. At least 90%. The photo shows how the shoots look after 5 days.I wish it weren’t so expensive

Seeds did not grow
I purchased this seed to fill in some gaps of clover that we just planted a few weeks earlier from another store. In the gaps where this seed was placed, no seed has grown and it has been 7 days of constant sun and watering. Usually it starts to go within the first 3 days. The seeds we recieved appear to be duds. I would not recommend these seeds.
