KINGMAS LCD Bicycle Bike Computer Odometer Speedometer Sd-548b

It's your basic bicycle computer, so pretty much it counts triggers and multiplies them by wheel circumference to display speed and mileage. I'm using it on an electric wheelchair, with 10" wheels and cobbled together trigger mount. Now we can see how many miles we've put on a battery and better judge when to switch to a spare. Easy peasy and reliable as all get out so far.

I bought the Artyea KINGMAS LCD Bicycle Bike Computer to replace a BELL Dashboard 150 computer costing twice as much. I much prefer the KINGMAS over the BELL, though they basically work and look a lot alike. The BELL had a poor mounting bracket making it easy for the speedometer to come off, whereas the KINGMAS has a very sturdy, tight mount. The buttons on the KINGMAS are also noticeably more sturdy, and the LCD is easier to see. The functions are identical between the two. I've read that some people received this item without an included battery; mine came with a battery and was easy, quickly installed. Works very well. And like the Dashboard 150, the KINGMAS allows you to enter a previous odometer total miles/km reading; I had 750 miles on my BELL (before it fell off the bike upon hitting a bump and was run over by a truck.) So it was nice to be able to start the KINGMAS at 750 miles on the odometer. Definitely a great buy at less than $10 from Amazon!

It's bad enough when you get a defective product. It's something different when your defective product was obviously a returned defective product.This thing came with someone's data in it. It's easy to see why they returned it, the sensor doesn't "see" the magnet. Then the rare times it does, it tells you that you're going 17MPH, while sitting stopped in your garage. I will be sending this back. What an embarrassment to Amazon and the company that made this thing.

As I paid next to nothing for this (vs. 30x for my cateye double wireless on my racing bike), I figure I'd cover the good/odd/ugly as it isn't per-se a 4-star item, but in context of the price, I'd have a hard time giving it less than that.Good:- It is easy to setup & configure with two buttons (once you know your wheel circumference)- It is dirt cheap- It tells you a bunch of useful stuff including roughly your speed, your trip distance, your odometer distance, you average trip speed, the time, and your max speed - including a scan mode that alternates between most of those values- If you are locking your bike up in a sketchy area where folks strip bikes, you can remove it/replace it easilyOdd:- It do a bit of rounding based on magnet times and only gives you a roughly accurate speed (i.e. when descending a bit above 30mph, it shows me as either going 31.4mph or 33.6mph but nothing in between - so there is some rounding going on inside the computer vs. doing higher precision math)- Before rides, on a good computer you can usually just hold a button down and it resets the trip odometer. This one requires a bit of a sequence which is a pain if you want to log every ride- Can only be mounted on handlebars - not the middle of the stem - unless you want to read it sideways as the mount only orients it one way- The cord off the computer isn't quite long enough to let you mount it on your rear if you want to use it for a trainer (at least not with larger frames)Ugly (I'm onto my third):- My first died when it sat on my bike in a nasty freezing rain storm (as I'm not sure how waterproof it is)- It doesn't stay perfectly fastened to the mount, so lost my second one after bumping it on my knee and it flew off into traffic (and retrieved another in a low traffic area)Still, even though I've replaced two of them, it is perfect for my fixie/city commuter bikes as I can buy 6 for the cost of a basic quality computer.

Works fine, but occasional glitches occurred during which the speed freezes at some number ending in a zero decimal (e.g. 13.0 mph or14.0 mph, but never 13.1 mph). I can tell that the device is continuing to sense because the distance ticks upward during this freeze. I have purchased several other inexpensive cycling computers that are based on the same system of operation; none of them had this problem (although they did have other issues such as poor water resistance). The glitch is annoying, so I wouldn't purchase another one, even if it is cheap.

Good for the money, not very durable. The true test for any product is a product that is used at my house, moreover a product that is used by one of my two sons. This little guy didn't hold up. The main problem is that the display pops off, this is meant to be a feature Im sure but it comes off too easy. As kids do, my son dropped his bike and it popped off, everytime, even if he dropped his bike on grass. It took three days for it to brake all together.So, fine for an adult, bad for a kid as far as I'm concerned.
