Q: What would be the lifespan of these. As there is spring inside, does it loose its retracting strength ?

I have had mine for 9 months and they work fine they seem. Very good and I would buy again

Q: Is it easy to move to the cable between two different locations in the same room? I have seated playspace and standing playspace.

Very easy, you may have place an extra hook for the pully to be moved to, six is more than enough to move them, remember the sticky pads are extremely strong and removing them isn't an option if you place them in the wrong spot. I also use two slightly different areas if the same room for my Valve Index.

Q: How easily does the adhesive come off without damaging the ceiling?

Hi. They stick very well to the ceiling. I did have to remove one to adjust my playspace and it was on solid. I heated it up with a hairdryer and this loosened it enough to come off without any damage. I wouldnt do this over and over tho. They are hardly noticeable when you leave them up without the pulleys attached. Great product and a total game changer for VR. Total no brainer. Buy it if you have a wired system because you will then feel as tho it is wireless. TIP: place one directly over your PC and then the others leading to your playspace. The Final one should be placed about 1 foot (12") behind where the back of your vr headset will be to make sure the wire has a nice curve to it and prevent sharp angles for the internal wire to break.

Q: Does it come with a cable?

No - you use it to suspend the cable from your VR equipment.
