Most D3 supplements don't also have K2, as Purely Holistic does. I've read many times that these two important vitamins complement & support each other and should be taken together. I've been taking this combination for years and notice a health deficit when I don't. Purely Holistic offers, in my opinion, the best product of it's type at a very reasonable price. What's not to like? Great product!

I wonder how many people are advised to take calcium supplements with a word of warning that they should also take magnesium which. if many reports are accurate, is found more and more sparingly in our soil. I believe the ratio is supposed to be about 50/50.Besides which calcium supplements on their own CONTRUBUTE TO MORE HEART ATTACKS that they prevent broken bones simply because people do not have enough K2 in their systems. Vitamin K2 controls where calcium accumulates in the body and prevents it from building up in the wrong locations, specifically in soft tissues. Thus it prevents calcification of the arteries, which can lead to heart disease.K2 is found in abundance in beef liver, Japanese Natto (femented soybeans), with dark meat chicken coming in third. However , since few eat either liver or Natto (one of the most intolerable things I have ever tried) and chicken is not on the menu all that often, it is much easier to supplement with this form of the vitamin derived from Natto.I will take these as long as they make them. While I've only been taking it for a short time and can't directly speak to how well this works, the research I've done tells me that this combination not only works synergistically to provide maximum benefit, it also aids in the effective absorption of calcium in the diet, which both my wife and I need as we age. I give it 4 stars only because I've not been taking it long, but believe that time will show it to be a 5 star product.

I was taking 2 a day and did a blood draw and my vitamin d was great and vitamin K was high. Doc told me to only do once a day. Blood draw proves this works for me.

I am a fan of the company and of this item in particular. The bottle holds a 5 month supply and pills are easy to swallow. D3 and K2 are critical nutrients to help with bone replenishment. The MK7 (K2) is definitely something I look for when purchasing. I like the vegetarian aspect, not because I am one, but because it means no animal products are included (or needed) in this vitamin. I believe that this product plus weight bearing exercises will definitely make a difference in my bone strength.
