Our current most played family game!
My husband received the Dungeon Mayhem game as a Christmas gift, and it was one of those games we didn't know how much we were missing out on before we started playing it. We have loved it so much we have bought every expansion pack for it, regretting nothing. This is our current most played family game. We started playing with my daughter when she was eight and it was the first game, that takes some strategy, that we all really, really enjoyed together. The rules are easy and by adding this expansion pack it adds even more variety to the game. The character you pick to play really does add to challenge of the game and different characters played against different characters changes things up as well. If you feel in love with the original game like we did, don't hesitate to add these new characters to your collections of playable characters!!

Incredible
Love the artwork and the cute tokens. Easy to play. Each character has a card that explains basic actions and special abilities. I would advise against playing the druid if your new (sounds like real life dnd) because it was a bit confusing the first time and was accidentally made OP because my friends and I had no idea how to properly play her. Also, the box Is not hard like the base game so it's easy to break. Despite this, this is a fun addition. I love playing the ranger and the druid is fun once you understand her.

Family fun that's easy to learn
My family loves this game. It's simple enough that anyone can pick it up and play, but has enough variety and chance that it's never clear who's going to win. Each deck has a particular advantage and all decks have the ability to shut down or steal cards from other players, chain cards together for massive combos, and cause other unexpected mayhem. It's also a very fast game. We usually play with 3 players and a typical game lasts 10-15 minutes. We started with original deck and eventually bought them all.

Just the most fun game ever
Played at a friends house and immediately bought it for myself. Played the base game 2 player and as a group and its a different game everytime you play it (as long as you're fun and you change decks every game). I take it with me anytime I go to a friends house now because its incredibly easy to learn, fast paced, wildly fun, and theres no skill advantage to the game. Anyone can win regardless of experience so even the most casual players or people who never play card/board games have the same chance of winning as those with experience. Recently played a few games 1v1 with a friend who had never played and after 6 games we had each won 3 times. atm this is my favorite game to play with friends.Only problem I have is the fact that the base game comes with a container that has enough slots for the expansion decks but they still make you purchase those decks seperately. There should be a version availiable with all the decks in one purchase rather than buying the base game then 2 expansions packs. In one sense if you're on a budget this design allows you to break up your purchases and buy them later on when you have the money to afford the expansion packs rather than dropping all the money at once. On the other hand its pretty annoying for someone like me who didn't realize this until after I got home with the base game I had bought from a local comic shop and then realized i only had half the decks. Because my comic shop didnt have the expansions I then had to wait several days in order to obtain the full game.

Very fun game
This is a great expansion for the Dungeon Mayhem game, both characters are unique in their play style and are definitely a nice addition to get more character options.

Interesting but challenging new characters
One has to have played the old Baldur's Gate computer game to know why it's awesome to have a Minsc deck for Dungeon Mayhem, and why it was absolutely mandatory that his highest damage card be called GO FOR THE EYES, BOO! But anyone can enjoy playing these two add-on characters for the game: Jaheira, the shape-shifting druid, and Minsc, the slightly addled ranger, both from Baldur's Gate. Minsc, other than the nostalgic humor of his cards with their obligatory references to his beloved hamster, Boo, is a pretty basic mix of attacks, heals and shields, with the added ability of forcing everyone to swap hit point totals. Jaheira, on the other hand, introduces a whole new play style with the addition of two forms: bear (heals) and wolf (attacks). Jaheira's deck can leave you a bit stymied if none of your form cards come up early, in that you can find yourself with a handful of cards that would benefit from a shape you can't take yet, and therefore the bonus effects are wasted. But that's true of any deck building type game, where a bad draw is a bad draw, regardless of the details. In fact, my last time playing Minsc, I was forced to first burn three heal cards when I didn't have any damage, and then -- worse -- had to swap hitpoints with someone who had 6 HP while I was at full health, thanks to unfortunate timing of a lightning bolt card (forcing me to play the last card in my hand, which was the 'switch HP' card). While fun, my kids have mostly gravitated back to the original four characters, as after about 10 games, none of us have managed to win with the new decks. That may be a matter of luck more than play balance, or even more likely in this game where you choose your target attack by attack, the players of these decks probably got targeted for early annihilation because the other players were worried about what the new powers might do.These are billed as an expansion to the base game; but honestly, other than the "broken heart" hit counters for shields, this deck has all you would need to play a two-player game.

Great addition
Even though this expansion only comes with 2 additional characters, they are a great addition as they are fun to play with. If you have the base game and the other expansion, just complete your set and pick this up.
