So, first, the spoons are excellently made and have a great weight and polish to them. No complaints!I'm new to cupping but I'm hosting a casual cupping for some friends and wanted to get something nice. I compared these to my Oneida Mooncrest silverware and they have a similarly nice weight and polish (see photo, cupping spoons are first and second from top, dinner spoon is third from top and teaspoon is fourth from top). The Oneida appears to run about $1.50-$2 per utensil while this ran about double at $3-$4 per spoon (I paid about $25 for 8 total).So, are they "worth" double? Well, for such a specialty item you can't the same economy of scale as the Oneida silverware. They just aren't going to sell enough for that to be economical, I think. Can you use a regular dinner spoon for cupping? From most the videos I have watched, I think the answer is yes. So if the money is an issue... you can probably skip it and be fine. But... if you're buying specialty coffee at $12-$24 per bag... are you really that concerned about spending the money to get a nice set of spoons?So, in summary... are they nice? Yes. Is the price fair for what you get? In my estimation, also yes. Do you need $3 cupping spoons? Well... only you really know!

I’ve used loads of cupping spoons and these are great. They are a great weight but have a thin enough edge at the same time.

I bought the spoons because it has patterns on the handle there are no patterns i wanted them to be gifts. Now I will have to go and buy others as the representation was wrong.
