Great book for adult learners
This book is great for Adults learning piano. What I like best is the author’s selection of music you learn to play. There is another book, Alfred’s Basic Adult Piano Course, that often gets lauded as the better teaching book. In many ways I agree, especially in learning to play by recognizing intervals. Ferrante’s book gives you the fingering throughout, where as Alfred’s teaches you without that and he teaches you more theory, which is better for learning in the long run. And if you don’t mind playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Merrily We Roll Along then go for that book. Ferrante’s book, on the other hand, gives you more inspirational and satisfying songs to play. Yes, they are harder to learn in the beginning, but worth it. Ideally, I recommend getting both books. I go back and forth between the two often. Especially when I get tired of playing kiddy songs.

Book full of resourse sites
It has plenty of lessons that I can visit. But I was really wanting more info in the book itself?

Good book for the beginning piano player
I had previous music experience years ago and forgot pretty much everything. This book helped me relearn how to read music. Mainly, it is helping me play the piano. I'm just starting for the first time and it has been helpful to guide me with finger placement and playing with my uncoordinated left hand. I'll keep using it until I'm ready to step up to the next book.
