I have not had an issue with these. I purchased for the use in the garden. Other Name brands lost sharpness after a couple of uses on a rose bushes.These are durable. Only reason I purchased a second, hoping the quality was the same (sometimes items get changed for the better and other items tend to disappoint when "updated"), was because I forced them on thicker branches from a tree.

Got these for trimming my goats hooves. Works great and is very sharp. Good value for the money!

As advertisedEdit to add. These work great even on tough overgrown hooves. Comfortable handle that won't hurt you, unlike that problem goat we all seem to get at some point.

I wouldn't say it's a bad product. Its super sharp and beautifully cuts printing paper (better than some scissors I have) but at the same time it has a defect in it.When sheers are closed all the way the tips end up criss crossed (see pics). And since I need to do precision work on the hoofs I'm not sure how will it affect performance.Hope it only applies to the ones I received. If you're in need of little trimmers these are great. Super sharp, lock good, fairly comfortable in your hand.

Great product for a great price. When looking for goat clippers at my local feed stores they were double if not triple the price. I would definitely buy again.
