Glad that these claim to be 100% biodegradable. My pack came with 26/27 hair ties, not a big deal but I would expect better quality control for the price. I tried one and it stretched out a bit, hopefully it doesn’t continue to stretch out.

It has excellent elasticity and does not generate electricity. It is sent in sufficient quantities and has distinctive packaging.

I have medium thickness hair, but I think they would be great with thick hair too. Thin hair they might be too big.Love that these are environmentally friendly, or more so than the cheapy ones that fall apart constantly. They hold my hair up really well without being super tight and causing headaches. I have purchased these a few times and will continue to do so.

First off, there's a sharp edge to where the hair tie was sealed together, it often scrapes against my skin as I put it on. Doesn't break skin or anything, but I shouldn't feel any scratching when putting a hair tie on.Secondly, they lose elasticity really quickly. Within a week or so of use, it's already twice as large as how it came, and I need to wrap it an extra time which is causing it to stretch out even more.I do love that they are biodegradable because I tend to lose these things a lot when out and about. The material itself is pretty comfortable and sturdy, but the elastic in it is not.

I don’t normally write product reviews, but these are such a standout product I thought I’d take the time. I was going through hair ties and feeling bad about all the ones I lost or threw out when they would inevitably break, poisoning the earth with more plastic waste. So I looked for a more sustainable option and found these…and they just happen to be the best quality hair ties I’ve ever used! They’re thick, soft cotton that never pulls on my hair, but strong enough to keep my ponytail secure (and I have a lot of hair). I’ve gone through two packs so far and I think maybe only one broke in that whole time- all the others eventually became unusable by getting stretched out from daily use before they broke. When they do become unusable (which seems to take significantly longer than most hair ties) I can throw them away without feeling guilty about plastic waste. Every time I lend someone one of these, they say “this is a really nice hair tie!” And then I have to let them keep it. These are kind of pricy, so I thought I’d write a positive review, bc I do feel the quality and longevity make them worth the price.
