Case Logic LAPS-114 14-Inch Laptop Sleeve (Black)

The case was a lot more sturdy and durable than I expected considering the price. The zipper seems like it'll last for awhile and the padding is perfect for me since I'll just be using it for carrying my laptop in my book bag. I love how it is thick enough to prevent any scratches on my computer and protects against minor bumps. I was also worried about it being too roomy for my ultrabook but it fits PERFECTLY! A little extra space but not too much (not enough to squeeze in a charger but enough to slip in a folder or some sheets of paper). I love it so far and it serves its purpose!My only complaint was that it only came in black for the 14-inch laptop sleeve. I would have preferred one of the other colors. But this is only a minor issue that isn't really important or a deal-breaker.It's definitely worth more than what I paid for!

my first impression was that the case was too small for a 14inch laptop but i decided to give it a chance. What it seems like is that the case is designed to have a tight fit on the laptop and its actually nice because it fits tightly around the laptop and is very convenient to carry or put in another bag. The case itself is made of a soft foam type of material which i feel offers a decent amount of protection to the laptop. At first i was concerned that the zipper would scratch the corners of my laptop due to the tight fit, but there's a bit of a soft guard that comes over the zipper that keeps this from happening which is perfect, i've been using it for about 2 months and my laptop is still looking brand new.

This laptop sleeve is really wonderful. I started out purchasing cheap laptop sleeves, but they would always fall apart. I decided to go with a brand that I know and Case Logic is really great at what they do.I have a 14" HP Pavilion dv4 and it fits great in the sleeve. The padding is really thick which is great. I've dropped it several times and there is never any damage to the sleeve or my laptop. The zipper also holds strong and there isn't a sense that your laptop is just going to fall out, as there is with some other sleeves that don't have a zipper. Also, the sleeve seems to be made out of some sort of liquid-repellent material. There was one case in which I spilled coffee in my bag and it just ran right off the sleeve. I checked the laptop inside and it was completely dry. Also, when you compare the cost of this sleeve to others it's quite a bit cheaper, yet you still get a great, quality sleeve. It even looks great.I haven't found any flaws with this sleeve and it works great, having saved my laptop from near certain death several times. I give it five stars and would highly recommend it.EDIT:I recently got a 13 inch Macbook Pro with Retina display (Late 2013), so I purchased the 13 inch version of this sleeve (previously had the 14 inch). Unfortunately, the Macbook doesn't fit in the sleeve very snugly as I would have liked, even though the sleeve is supposedly specifically designed for the Macbook. There is about an inch of space left on both sides. Other than that the sleeve is pretty great and plenty thick, and all of the elements from my previous review apply.

If you're searching for a case that will fit your Thinkpad Edge E430, this case possesses the combined qualities of being the highest rated least expensive soft case on Amazon (as of 01/16/2014).I use this case to protect my laptop while it's tossed around from classroom to classroom, and in and out of my bike pannier bags over the course of a given week. It serves its purpose when I all too frequently plop my bag down with haste, as the life of a grad student is never slow paced.One point of mention: This bag does not have space or a pocket to fit a laptop power cable. Although it successfully serves the purely utilitarian purpose of protecting your laptop from minor bumps and drops. Since this is the advertised purpose I graded the case at 5 stars.

I bought this for my ASUS 14.1 inch Laptop or Ultra-book with a touch screen. The Asus fit right in and it provides lots of protection from scratching or bumping. It does exactly what it was meant to do be a soft case buffer for the laptop. I wold recommend this to anyone that has a 14 inch laptop that wants a plain black high quality sleeve. I think the price was right also I paid a third of what the price at Target or Walmart were. I am definitely satisfied. Soft durable neoprene, heavy Cordura nylon type material on the sides double stitched and well put together. The zipper is smooth and pulls nice with out any problems and the zipper pull as rubberized grip for good traction when pulling the zipper.
