good tool
I've used one of these for a few years now this is the second one I've bought, I don't know exactly how accurate they are and there are probably more accurate ones out there, but it does the job for me, I bought this to go into my travel guitar repair kit and it hasn't let me down, I use it only to determine the height of the action and use it to adjust that action, I know it can be used for other things but that's all I use mine for

Does the job at a reasonable cost
Overall reasonably well made, lettering is clear.Seems accurate enough given the job required of measuring guitar action etc.Having the clearance action range for electric and acoustic strings printed on the device is useful, saves having to check, one less thing to remember!At this price its something every half serious guitarist should have, not just for the professionals, especially if you can easily alter bridge heights/action, such as on a Gretsch.Would I buy again - Yes.

Exactly what I wanted
There isn't much so say that cannot be inferred by the pictures. If you need a ruler to measure action and check frets are even this works great. Pocket sized and sturdy.

Poor quality
The transfer with the measurements on is not attached to the metal plate accurately. The edge was not a smooth finish. This was one of the medium priced ones, I should have spent more.
