I used these to build a shelf rack in my softball bag. They were the perfect item needed to do just that. Lightweight enough that I can still lift the bag into the car, and store things accordingly in my bag.

I’ve built quite a few things with these fittings. They are very well made and fit tightly with 1/2” PVC pipe. I’ve seen other brands which are cheaper but also thinner and basically, wimpy. I recommend these Formufit furniture connectors.

Clever design. You cannot normally find a 4 way fitting in any hardware store, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Unfortunately, the inserts are not tapered like a standard PVC fitting, therefore the pipe does not fit as snug as a standard PVC fitting. This means you will probably have to use some type of adhesive. If you use PVC glue then you will not be able to re use this part because that bond is permanent. So, I used silicon adhesive which makes it so the the pipe fits snug and the fitting can be re used over and over again. If this part had tapered inserts like a standard PVC fitting, it would be awesome. Also, the plastic is not as thick or durable as a standard PVC fitting. I did not lower the rating because of the loose design. To me, it still deserves 5 stars.

These little things are brilliantly useful. I used these and other Formufit fittings in conjunction with basic T's and elbows purchased at a hardware store. These were much more pleasant to work with. I was building a complicated structure that I had to put together and take apart many times, and the hardware fittings had an insanely snug fit, making it was difficult to be precise with my pipe measurements (hardware fittings usually accepted .25" less pipe than the Formufit fittings - a big difference when you're trying to be precise!), and difficult to get the fittings apart again. The Formufit fittings accepted pipe snugly, but not to the point where I had to strain myself getting it apart again and I always knew exactly how long my pipes should be. Next PVC project, I will save myself the extra trouble and use all Formufit fittings.

Using this FORMUFIT PVC 4-way tee worked well on the FORMUFIT brand piping. I’m building a planter/greenhouse with it and these are being used for hanging lights, so I can adjust their location as needed. This PVC is great because it has no markings, it’s non-toxic and food safe. I checked the pricing on this vs my local hardware store and it’s about the same, but I can be lazy and get it at my doorstep instead of running to the store ha.Combining this with the other FORMUFIT PVC brand piping turned out really great. I will continue buying this brand in the future for more projects.

I Used these 3 way couplings with 1/2 inch PVC pipe to build portable freeze protective covers for plants I can't move inside in the winter. These 3 ways couplings connected the tops of each cover and the lids I also made. Attached bubble wrap to the framework with cable ties. These covers are light weight and I can make them any size using these 3 way couplings along with some 4 way couplings for down in the body of the framework. I love this concept and am so glad Amazon carries these and got them to me so quickly. I bought the 4 ft wide bubble wrap also from Amazon.

Built protector screen frames with these and they work well with Oatey primer and cement. Definitely not a super snug fit in some cases but for non plumbing use these are just fine.
