Display is exactly as described. Used a 12 VDC 1.5 A power supply from a small Netgear switch for power during testing. Paired it with a cheap $20 NTSC backup camera. Immediately worked when powered. Pointed the camera out my window and towards the street. The picture in the display is much better than expected. Adjustments for language, brightness, contrast, and hue seem to work as well as they need to. I plan on mounting the camera on my car so I can see a curb before driving into it when I'm parking. My car is lowered and has a front splitter, so this is an issue. The camera was purchased separately. The display will be attached to the center area of the windshield. I've had it plugged in and running now for more than two full hours. So far so good. Next test is when I get it installed in my car. This box the display comes in says it will take 9V to 36V DC input power. This is nice for a number of applications. The display is not spec'd to work with a standard USB at 5VDC power source. It will however, work well with the 12 VDC power from a cigarette lighter style plug in your car.

I use this device as a monitor for a CD player which lacks a "display" feature. This device, therefore, allows me to "see" the number of a CD track, as well as the timing. Works beautifully, taking up minimal space next to the CD player.

Paired this monitor with the RAAYOO L002 camera. Super bright at night, very clear and crisp video. The monitor instantly turns on when switched to reverse, which is very nice to have no latency issues.Screen has some strange refresh lines, but that may be the cheap camera I bought to pair it with. Still easily viewable.This monitor only runs off direct current, which means it will not work plugged into a cigarette lighter or USB port. It must be tapped into your fuse panel, spliced into your reverse light wires, or connected straight to the battery. It does not come with a fuse tap or a fuse on the positive wire, which I would heavily recommend.Only an automatic transmission issue but when going from park to drive the monitor tries to send out a video signal when the gear selctor passes through reverse, which causes radio interference.One thing is when the monitor is just turned on or switched from reverse to a different gear the "no signal" screen is a very bright blue, which is annoying at night. Fortunately, the screen goes black after 2-3 seconds.

For the price on those little thing I wasn't expecting much but I didn't need much. Surfaces to say when I open the package took it out examined it hooked it up and have now used it for quite a few hours and days I love it hopefully it'll last we'll see. You can't beat it for the price so if it fits your needs I say go for it.

The screen does what ist is supposed to do and it works well with a generic backup camera. The mount is pretty lame. The ball and socket part quickly get loose, leaving the screen flopping about.

These are recycled TFT screens from obsolete devices, repurposed and repackaged into "new" stand-alone monitors. The one I received has very obvious burn-in from its past life (see pics). I suspect it was originally in a GPS or cellular device due to the burned-in images of cell and satellite signal strength meters in the upper left and right corners. I put a piece of tape over the camera lens to show the burned-in shadow images better, but they are still visible during normal use.

El tamaño del monitor y la buena imagen que se ve a través de él, es muy util y práctica para lo que necesito, el funcionamiento e instalación son bastante fáciles, en mi caso por ejemplo, lo uso para poder visualizar los titulos de las canciones en mp3, lo he conectado a un reproductor de DVD y se me hace muy practico para seleccionar la canción que quiero escuchar. Además lo puedo trasladar si es necesario a otro lugar. Un monitor grande no tiene la misma versatilidad.

Put this on my son’s truck. Makes all the difference in the world for backing up with a trailer attached to it.
