Plastic-don’t overtighten!
It is plastic, looks great and will help the tub look better.

Great product
This product is very inexpensive and worked so well and a great fit for my tub. Just a side note you will need 2 more screws to attach the housing, so don’t throw the old screws away when removing old one.

Just what I was looking for for overflow drain on tub
Our bath tub had old style grill on the overflow drain. I learned that our faucet was leaking down into this area and the gasket inside had started leaking so we were leaking water under house. Was able to replace gasket and stop leak. Just to be sure purchased this style of cover for overflow. It fit fine, functions great, and easy to install. Did not have to consult youtube for this one. I would say great value. Only time will tell as far as durability.

no screws to mount adaptor plate to overflow pipe.
the plate is plastic not metal like other Danco products. it does not include the 2 screws that mount the adapter plate to the overflow pipe. it does include the one screw that mount the plate to the adapter plate.i would think it would come with the kit since with this plate you are converting a 2 hole plate to a single hole plate.

Easy to install
This overflow was easier to install and it looks really good. I think it’s gonna be very adorable and will be in place for years.

Seems to be as good or better than the Moen piece it replaced
Somehow the 10 year old Moen on that was installed when my house was build broke. ( I assume one of the kids dropped the handheld shower on it but no one is confessing) I bought this one to replace it and honestly I think one might actually be better than what was there. Even the screw that came with this one seemed to be better qualitity than the screw on the original.if you find yourself in the market for a new tub overflow plate, this one is a good choice!

the screw is too short ..have to go buy a screw separately at the hardware store, which is not cool.
